YESSSS!!! THANK YOU!!! I have had my Brother sq9285 for TWO YEARS now , and have watched every TH-cam video on Earth (or so I thought). lol And NOT ONE told me how to use the decorative stitches. UNTIL NOW!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! 😊 💓

Thanks for explaining the importance of using the correct feet. I just tried sewing a decorative stitch with a walking foot and needless to say, it didn't work.

Thank you for your comments. Using a walking foot with some decorative stitches can work but not all of them.

How would I use the decorative stitches of the bees and keep it straight to put on as a bordered edge? Thank you in advance for any assistance as I would be most grateful!🐝

If your machine has the laser guide it would be an awesome way to keep on the straight edge

For the test page, did you appliqué on paper?

We used fabric and stabilizer. Testing should be done on fabrics and stabilizers using the the threads similar to what you intend to use for the final product
