Even the bird was shocked
The raven said wow, wow, wow give me more.
😂
I love Arlie's evaluations.
And Arlie Sulka, you're a gem too.
She spoke so much faster on that one Tiffany piece with the daughters. More mature now and polished, but it is sad that time takes away the looks of women. She looks good, but it is a stark comparison. Guys can get lucky and look better with age.
@@tomdallas3690 This is a cheap comment about a classy woman. She deserves a lot better.
@@tomdallas3690 you know she's 65 in this video right
She's the best expert, by far. I'm not even particularly a fan of Tiffany, but she explains everything so very well.
Arlie is one of my favs on ARS
It's simple. I see Antiques Roadshow, I see Tiffany, I click.
Exquisite little vase.
Thank you... Beautiful peace, never seen anything like this during the last 50 years of buying and selling art glass. I would like to see what this piece would look like in a dark room with a light shining through it

MrPat1953. It would be even more beautiful if you'd spelt "peace" correctly; the right spelling is of course "piece".
Good for her Congratulations.
I like it. It’s really interesting to look at but still attractive.
arlie puts the comfort in LCT
I pegged it at $35K, and I wasn't far off. Simply Stunning Vase.
minus 30% commission.
@Fisher Man so they double dip. Nice!
Generational wealth really shows through for this one.
After the family dog! Sweet woman.
Indiana was the DOG'S name!
Grannie had several Tiff cases.⭐️👍⭐️👍
I have always loved old art glass (Any OLD glass tbh, especially English) and this is amazing :)
''Art'' glass got common, massed produced, esp. in China, and the market devalued, because too few people actually understand what went into producing these items. They buy ''bling'' instead that cost $2 to make for $50 and consider it a great bargain piece. *sigh*
very nice and lucky women 😍😍😍😍😍🙅🙅
Nice
ahh they had that vase too close to the edge I was scared the entire time!!
A beautiful piece.
But please don’t take it to Rick’s.
Rick will start the rehearsed Kabuki theater act, will make faces, breathe heavily several times, and after 11 seconds with a prolonged sigh, will then tell you straight looking into your face, (like he’s about to do you a favor), that he has to keep it shelved for God knows how long, that it doesn’t sell, and finally says:
“I’ll give you $3,000.00 and that is my final offer”.
can you imagine his expert coming down to look at it and then starting to shake?
We named the dog Indiana...
It really doesn't matter how ugly the thing is as long as it's vintage Tiffany.
Not sure I would tell people I was named after the family dog.
Named after the dog just like Indiana Jones.
My younger sister is named after a cat my mother had a long time ago.
Rare and gruesome.
Tbh at proper retail setting I would just walk by it....small ugly pumpkin color looks cheesy.....but it’s worth a used Mercedes lol
I wouldnt walk by it. Just saying....
@@1ACL it's just doesn't scream I'm valuable and rare lol 😂
Did anyone else catch that she was named after the family dog and the family dog was named after Tiffany Co? Is it normal to name people after dogs? If not, I am terribly sorry to this beautiful woman.
I sensed a bit of bitterness in that comment …. I think she will be selling that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No more family heirloom with that piece
It's not the company, I was named after the 80s singer.
Ominous crow in the background and skull and crossbones on her necklace; this vase may be cursed.
Actually it fake
Hopefully granny was not morbidly obese too
Not cool, Bob.
@@Mammalammaful The lad was just getting in some "negging" practice before heading out to the disco.
If your love of an antique is in any way impacted by its price, do it a favor and throw it in the trash. Same thing if you don't enjoy the item as the maker intended, especially if you're going to remove it from the wild. Antiques belong to everyone. They're manifestations of ideas, and ideas can no more be owned than dreams in the night that fleet in the light. Even "our" thoughts aren't ours. Don't think so? Try to stop them from coming.
