- In this video, I will show you how to get the Artifact of the Massive. This guide/video was done on Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) in 2024 so you can ensure it is up to date.
This guide will show you where to find the entrance of the Lava Cave as well as take you through it from start to finish so you know exactly where to go and what to do.
This video will show you the best route to the artifact and will give you all the info you need to make it through alive. I have made this guide to help new and returning players to ascend from the Island on ASA. The Artifact of the Massive is one of the 3 artifacts you will need to enter the broodmother arena and take on the spider queen that awaits.

Hold R when your otter is on your back and you can access its inventory without having to toss it on the ground.

@Storminit it only worked with sinos on ASE, they added it to the rest of the shoulder pets in ASA which is fantastic

Be sure to bring lesser antidote. Jumped for the artifact- bat spawned- was dead in 10 seconds
Yeah, mega rabies is so OP you either need antidotes or like 500 health.
Lava wasn't insta kill, but damn close. RIP Saber on the jump back.

I never use sabretooths for anything! Lost count how many times it's dodgy jump got me killed 😂
Yeah they aren't the most reliable of tames. Its either they jump half way across the map or can barely get their feet off the ground. There's no in-between.

nothing will ever beat the assault rifle. and thats just an objective fact. aside from tech weapons anyways
I got to disagree the shotgun will always be my go to especially for caves.
Ran in naked no weapons jump over everything grab artifact and sprint back out... Because the game is lagging so bad 😂 not reccomended under normal circumstances
The one time lag in Ark is actually useful.

No GPS exact location… just a quick glance at the map…. That we’ve to pause the upload to see where you’re even at… It was so fast that I checked to see if I had my playback speed higher than 1.0 ..
Already had a good artifact finding channel but it’s got tons of views and I figured… “why not help the smaller channel and give them some views even if it’s copied exactly…?”

There is no GPS in ASA. The coords were at the bottom of the map, which maybe I should have shown for longer. My bad.
