Oh man I remember that horse thing in front lol. And yeah that blood pressure machine is old. I like how Kmarts have been stuck in the 80s and 90s. Guess the big wigs were not even trying to be competitive with Target and Walmart anymore. Then again many Kmart shoppers probably shop online now.

I only manage to go to Erie a few times a year anymore so I wanted to get my perspective on the store. He filmed at Ames near Pittsburgh a while ago that I also filmed at a couple of weeks ago. But I love Anthony's work. I like his videos. I just want to try and get my abandoned videos too. I'd like to go on an urban exploration with him sometime.
Justin Vickers They didn't mind me neither but I still didn't want to give them a chance say anything in case they would. I saw in a couple other people's videos where they did get yelled at. However I don't know the whole story as to why they got yelled at. Did they make a scene off camera? Who knows.
Boy, they were selling anything and everything at that going out of business sale. End of July and there was all kinds of winter stuff: sleds, tree bases, ornaments, etc. Never saw many "out of season" products at the Kmarts near me when they closed down.
I work at this kmart. Prices weren't marked up, they are just marked back to original price before the percentages come off, customers often assume this but it is not true. The pharmacy closed about a month before employees were informed that our kmart was closing, but we obviously knew the closing of the pharmacy wasn't good news. If you guys have any further questions I'll be glad to answer.
David Thank you for your input. I was wondering. I only mentioned the prices because people have said it a few times that prices were marked up at other locations. I know at the Meadville Kmart, this was the case on food. I was there a few days before the sales began and for example, a box of corn flakes was $2.89. When I went back a few days after the sale started, the food (including the corn flakes) was marked 10% off but I had seen the shelf label say the corn flakes were originally $3.19. I didn't really care, to be honest but I found that interesting
Also David, is there any possible way I could get an employee shirt? You know the blue ones the sales floor people wear? I'd be willing to pay for it and obviously for shipping. I'd like to get one to have as memorabilia for when the store is gone. I wear an XL and can message you my info. Just let me know on here first. Thanks.
man these k marts are dropping like flies. at this rate they probably will all be gone by the end of winter. its funny seeing Cleveland browns stuff, being on the east side of PA we only see the eagles and steelers and unfortunately a handful of patriots crap. I'm a NY jets fan and with how crappy theyre doing its almost impossible to find some of their stuff. i hope you can get back to this area again and do an update video to see how empty it gets.

Western PA has a lot of Browns fans, plus Bills fans around Erie for sure. I'm shocked to hear that you can't find Jets merchandise in Eastern PA, unless you're near Philly I guess. I remember NE PA being a mix of Jets, Giants, Eagles, and Steelers fans, so all those teams had merchandise available in stores. Patriots stuff is for bandwagoners.

wab1988 Haha. Yes, I did. I forgot to add that in the video. That ended up being the only thing I bought. This store's deals weren't that great yet and I had a car load of people and luggage for our 4 day trip so I had to watch what I bought so we wouldn't run out of room in the car. But I liked it the moment I saw it. It looks nice on the patio furniture and is nice when I lay on my hammock.

That remind me so much of our K-mart they just closed..they all look the same..even on down to the floors.
