I saw a video where someone beats Inquisitor Cal on the hardest difficulty without taking any damage, I don’t remember which one because there’s a lot of them. But after it was done I was dumbfounded by that player’s level of skill, so I somewhat jokingly commented: “Is it possible to learn this power?” And they actually responded: “Not from a Zanny.” That shit put me in a giggly mood for awhile man, let me tell you.
Fun fact, if you turn on Free For All and let him 1v1 any other lightsaber weilder he'll win like 99.99% of the time. Even Jaro Tapal, because Repulse does actually damage him, but it's only technically possible since it would take forever
@@GoodOlRoll if he's that powerful then in cannon he's too powerful to be an inquisitor, Palpatine would just assume Vader is training him extra hard to help Vader kill him and probs order Vader to kill Cal
@@ZomboidMania Cal would be a HUGE asset to the Empire however. He's got psychometry, a power that could hunt down any jedi. He would be the Empire's blood hound - Palpatine would probably end up just keeping Cal close to him. Cal wouldn't be the most dangerous inquisitor because of his skills, he'd be the most dangerous because of his powers, and those powers are useful to the Empire. Psychometry is so rare that they would most likely never find another Force User with that skillset (minus Quin)
What crazy timing! I was able to beat evil Ed Sheeren on grandmaster difficulty yesterday after about 6 tries! It's the most satisfying feeling in the whole dang game.
Using force dodge then kick is extremely useful. He becomes open up to any form of attack after dodging him then kicking him. My suggestion: press triangle with the one-sided sabre to crack down on his head for maximum damage
I know for a fact I beat him because all the meditation challenges are marked as completed, but I have zero recollection of when or how I did it, so I can only assume the experience was so harrowing my brain was forced to purge it from my memory.
God, it took me a WEEK of trial and error before I finally got a grasp of how to precision dodge all of his moves. Beating him after the lightsaber boss rush challenge felt so good.

The fact Inquisitor Cal Kestis uses perfect Dun Moch on the player is utter *Chef's Kiss* Dun Moch is a lightsaber technique of insulting your opponent to throw them off balance mid-fight and is used by the Sith mainly. Dooku saying "Excellent, twice the pride, double the fall" is a prime example. Vader saying "Obi Wan taught you well" then lightsaber throwing to catch Luke off guard is another. Inquisitor Cal just stopping midfight, turning off his lightsaber, and fixing his hair... Perfection.
If he would have swapped to darth maul, he would have been able to do that charge slash up and down move. Literally the strongest hit move you can do on the game.

I too decided to beat him and, because I'm not Zanny nor any other skilled gamer, I tried to find any combination of movements that will manage to hurt Evil Ed. And I found one. It's an Force Jump (A + Y) - it will work only when he's close enough - and then, when he is on ground, use fast Saber Throw (LB + Y). Do the same thing until your Force is out, then try to Matrix-Dodge his attacks to get the Force bar on full. And repeat. Also, when you're running from him, remember to always dodge backwards or right (usually Ed is attacking you on your left side). The fight will last long (you need to do this attack approximetely 16-17 times - it's usually 10-30 minutes), but Evil Ed Sheeran will eventually be no more. On Grandmaster Jedi Difficulty too. Hope it can help anyone and thank you Zanny for the inspiration ;)
When I fought evil ed my main strat was avoiding using force abilities since they barely affect him and waste the energy. Instead once I got a window I used the lunge ability. If you press jump before you hit with it cal jumps over your target and attacks them in the back like an unblock able move. And without using it I would use the single saber by parrying on eds attacks and on my attacks I would use the stab attack from when you delay your own attack input since it drains more of his block stamina and gives me back more ability energy.
Quick tip for some good damage. When he attacks you, dodge and kick him, and immediately do an overhead slash. You can also tap the force pull button to throw him off balance for a second so you can get a quick hit. Lastly, you can get a heal window by force pushing him, then quickly using a stim.
As someone who has beaten every other boss on grandmaster, and who's only those DAMN data logs away from the platinum, I can confirm that this boss is way harder than all of them, I still haven't been able to beat him on anything above jedi knight, props to you Zanny.

Evil Cal is the worst, because he’s you if you actually remembered how to do all your moves, which is pure evil
And unlimited force, all your stim health in one bar, and unable to be pushed, pulled, or slowed, when he can slow you.
Use the pull. It is the only force-move that stuns him.

I've placed him against Ninth Sister, Second Sister, and Malicos. He beat all 3 of them.
