My Danish mother was very tolerant of my glueing and crafting but when I was really into it she called me a "klisterer". Good thing she didn't know about my attempt to make glitter.

Your instincts are very good! Many quilters use glue sticks with different types of quilting. Two of my favorite quilters use glue sticks ll the time. There are glues many specifically for fabrics but they tend to cost quite a bit. We who use such tools have found that it isn't necessary. Have never had an issue. Thank you for a new technique for "free-range" quilting!

This could be one of those "opportunities" (answer this knock at the door now!) to try a bunch of those specialty stitches your sewing machine has, changing it up every 6 inches or so and adding a little more character to your work. ...like Pam needs more character LOL. Right, Sunny? "That's right, Minka. Mom's character pot is already boiling over."

Sometimes flipping back and forth from paper to fabric ( both are just fibers, right?) can get ones toes twinkling again! :)

Hi Pam, tip from a long time sewist/ quilter on cutting safety. If you lay the fabric down on the table and cut it by only lifting it the height of the scissors you can cut faster and safer! Enjoyed your fun video!😀💗🇨🇦

Lots of creative fun Pam and your bobbin gods are happy. 🤣 I just bought a Brother CS10s from Amazon, it was only £126, so managed to grab a bargain. It has 40 stitches and auto needle threader etc. Very very similar to your machine. Definitely worth it for beginners. I agree re the vintage threads, older threads tend to be cotton and newer ones are polyester etc so they stretch more. You know the Brother has an automatic bobbin loader so it is really easy to match your thread if you have spare plastic bobbin cases, am sure you know that but just on case, it is easy. Would love to see these snippets in journals etc.

The funny thing about these videos is that once you watch them it always seems like you just posted them.
Like, Oh wow, this was 9 months ago, or, this was made 1 year ago. Lol. Thanks Pam. Once I finish organizing & cleaning my craft room, this is going to be the very next thing I make. :)
