There honestly needs to be a video of an entire crew of Peyton Parrish's, similar to the crew of Jack Sparrows, singing pirate shanties while operating a ship; letting loose the main sails, hoisting his own personal Jolly Roger, running out cannons for battle, etc.

@@kalaong neither am I, but copyright wise if its not released it wouldn't actually be a cover, he'd be releasing a new song basically I'd think. I wouldn't say that they're laying a trap though, it would cause a headache they wouldnt be bothered with id guess. A full song would be good but I'm just trying to think of why he wouldn't have done a full version. This is a good song, good video but its just too short imo

You know the music is good when you have goosebumps while listening to it. I've heard so many versions of this song, and my God, this one has blown me away! I'm sharing this with EVERYONE! I love how animated Peyton is when he does these videos, really putting himself into the mindset of a certain character or situation! Mad respect and keep making amazing music!

This is just a fantastic song to cover and play. The best time I've ever had as n amateur violinist was when my high school orchestra took on the Pirates scores and this was my favorite. Watching the bassists and cellists across from me physically get into and synchronize their swaying to the yo ho section was so cool! I didn't think our director would be able to top the cover of Bohemian Rhapsody from the year before, but she managed to find something we loved playing even more.
Other than the gender, I was gonna ask if you were an alum of the same program I was in, because we played both of those too (I was a cellist; Hans Zimmer is so much fun to play).

Love the acting in this, the vibe of this song has always been very chilling but this version has a sense of a story- a journey to the end of life. Also that ending was chilling. I'm really wanting this album. Great effects for the music video, I wasn't expecting such a theatrical take- love it!

Sooo... We have a sailboat. And an unfortnate habit of making our full day trips on days where the weather turns when we're only halfway there. This is clearly our new soundtrack. Now I just have to figure out how to keep the pirate hat on my head in the winds (no one likes the chin strap).

This is awesome as hell. I have to say, I keep listening to different versions of this and after the intro part when you can tell the heavy part is about to kick in, I keep hearing a breakdown like the one in the Valhalla Calling you did with Miracle of Sound. Maybe that wouldn't work, but I keep expecting that sort of more rhythmic, driven thing to happen. Awesome song dude.
