A map would be much appreciated to understand the path of the cyclone

It’s not only the cyclone it’s the ecosystem they have destroyed that makes the cyclone worse! The entire coral reef is almost collapsed and they have dried up the marsh lands to grow drugs. They have over grazed they pastures and mowed down the trees and the best of all is they have diverted the Zambezi river towards them and cut off South Africa’s water supply! Poetic Justice is it not!

Why should 34 people die? Even one person is too much, but 34!
    1. This storm was predicted early enough
    2. This is not the first time Mozambique is having such storms

The French send help to Mayotte, other nations could help, the Portuguese may help Mozambique, other nations could help. What about the Comores? Is it any wonder that the Comore islanders seek to move to Mayotte in their droves even if they are 'sans papiers'?

Save the Children should not be allowed to work in Mozambique or anywhere really. I know one person who works in Tanzania who gets a first class ticket home to the UK every year, a cleaner, and a driver as part of their contract. I also know someone who is currently trying to stop bullying going on in one country. Another who was discriminated against because they are a lesbian. And another who reported the country manager in the Solomon Islands for bullying but the organization fired them instead of the bully. This organization does more harm than good.

I was in Mozambique in 200o just after the last “significant” storm. Save the Children and Care teams occupied the boutique hotel (singular) and the lesser bougie hotels. I couldn’t understand why they weren’t living with the people the better to know , 1st hand what was most needed.

Voi volete festeggiare il natale, ma credo sarebbe meglio che cominciaste a "fare penitenza". Guardate che non è un gioco e non è un film: i flagelli di Dio sono realtà. Convertitevi, dunque, e credete al vangelo.
