Thank you! I watched a bunch of other videos and your’s is the only one that helped me. I just fixed my dryer and it was all because of you. You should keep making videos because you are really good at it. Thanks again for making this video that I could actually understand!
Thank You Hameed, gave me the motivation to keep trying! The pulley I bought looks just like yours but it has regular forward threads, I believe 3/8 - 24 fine, I finally took the motor out to a table and bought a 1inch socket and forced the aluminum pulley to rethread itself on there, the shaft threads were a little damaged at the end from the pulley breaking, maybe that is why i was able to FORCE it on. Dryer seems to work great so far!
My magnetic flashlight kept falling too when it was stuck to the inside wall of the dryer. They use terrible metal to make these terrible dryers. Yes my flashlight sticks to other metal objects just fine. :D
Great video, Hameed. I just learned a way to do this so you don't have to put your shoe in the blower assembly. The pulley shaft has a flat section on one side, behind the pulley, that allows you to lock an adjustable wrench on left side. It will hold shaft in place and allow removal of pulley, with another wrench. This reduces the chance of damage to motor or blower assembly.
Thank you, Hameed!!!! You have done so much to help us with this problem. Blessings.
