After researching, I took it apart, determined it was the air nozzle and replaced it. One thing though, you REALLY underestimated how much trouble the ant-reverse lever is! LOL. Well now that I finally found a good video we can reassamble that V2 gearbox that's been laying around for a few months now. We searched and searched for a good guide but I only now came across this one. The biggest struggle we usually had before was also getting the gearbox to not fly in all directions because of the spring.

That was easily the best tutorial I have ever seen with any gearbox. I pulled apart my V2 for the first time ever and got lost. Thank you so much for sharing.... And saving my confused brain.
Thanks to you, I realised I had the anti-reversal latch on the wrong gear, and the bevel would spin clock-wise and not counter-clockwise at it should. If you didnt point that out i would have destroyed my upgrade components... Thanks a lot man! Excellent tutorial!
Thank you for the tutorial. Ended up with a no fire situation, used this to rip the gun apart and find a piece of plastic lodged in the pistons travel groove.
I just installed a MOSFET for the first time and the gearbox popped open during disassembly leaving a few springs and parts I had no idea which way around they went - so this was a big help, thanks!
You made it so easy closing the gear box. It took me 30 min because of the annoying anti-reversal part. It kept on misaligning everytime i put the spring and the close the gear box. I had my brother helped me steadied it in place by using a small stick and pushed it down. Anyway, thanks for the very helpful video!

Thank you so much for the tutorial man, it helped me a lot. I had trouble finding an excellent gearbox guide since a bunch of dudes made "complete guide" while the only thing they fking did was took out the gears, left the entire trigger assembly and wires untouched lol.
When I found out why my trigger wasn"t working I reassembled it. I couldn"t get the anti-reversal switch and trigger to stay in place so I just put those aside. Any ways I"m going to order a new gearbox. My current ones a bit crappy too. Thanks for helping, and keep up the good work.
Hi Luke, don't give up just yet! Try using some eyebrow tweezers to keep the AR latch in place and some weight on the trigger keeping it down, then close the shells as I show you! ;-)
This was an amazing tutorial, im actually planning on being an airsoft gun tech, and this really helped me understand the inner workings of one of the facilities most prominant guns, the HK416, this really helped a lot, thank you.
This was a great video. I tried to upgrade my piston, and couldn’t get it back firing. I’m still having feeding issues, but at least your video got me back to where the gear box is solid. Thanks for a really useful and easy to follow video.
I fully rebuilt mine but when it's re assembled and I try to fire it it still locks up. There's a gap in the gearbox that you can stick a screwdriver through and when I pry the anti-reversal latch back the gun cycles back to the original position. Is this an Anti-Reversal latch problem or something else?
