Just a little tip. If there's nothing wrong with the ball joints upper and lower and the arms itself then just replace the bushes 👍

I’d heard of them getting seized but I never realised that people doing alignments were twisting them, would make a lot of sense, I did think it was weird that my bushings went from perfectly fine to completely destroyed just weeks after having new tyres + alignment done

That seems like an obscene amount of money for a couple of bits of steel and rubber. Is there any cheaper alternative? After market?

Totally agree it is very expensive for those two simple components.
Yes there is cheaper options made in China and you know how that lasts so is it really cheaper in the long run not from the feedback I’ve heard from people.
Then there is better quality options that are somewhere between cheap and genuine not saving that much money and sometimes ending up with a hard ride from the material used in the bushes perhaps a good design but not everybody likes the ride for the rides you know you like and reliability that will last a lifetime if you look after them you know what to use.
After all change them every 300,000 case for most people is over 10 years and when you spread it out over 10 years it’s not a lot of money people waste more money on lots of other things like smokes alcohol dining out etc.

Does that price include the bolts and nuts n cams etc? My 2012 150 Kak with 128k has a seized side that the wheel alignment guy found. Hoping some anti seize spray stuff might work.

Yep, my FJ LCA made it to 200k before a bolt seized.
I opted for a set of superpro arms and I'm happy with the NVH and will see how they last.

Toyota are a good product but the cost for what you get certainly isn't what it use to be!
