What an amazing message! In 40 years of being a Christian I've never heard anyone speak about this in this way! I've heard "die to self" messages for years and it has never helped or worked for me. And unfortunately Grace teachers all seem to focus on how we are forgiven of all our sins and then never talk about how to keep sin out of your life! This was very refreshing and helpful for me! Thank you Andrew! 😃 Please speak more on these kinds of things.
this is the best life changing revelation of God to my Life, no one preaches and gets through like Jesus through dr, Andrew,, amazing , I learned how much God really loves his children. amen and amen thank you
So on point. Exactly as Andrew described. "There is pleasure in sin for a season". The funny thing is that so many churches teach us that we have to fight and struggle to overcome sin, yet Christ has overcome sin for us. He died TO sin so that we could as well. The more we strive to overcome sin, the less successful we are. Sin NEVER produces a positive result. Amazing sermon Andrew!!
Wow! What he said about holding on to resentment really resonates with me. My whole concept of the gospel has change since I began listening to Dr. Farley. My experience with Christianity was always about shame and guilt, and not feeling like I meet the mark. The grace of God is amazing. I'm in love with the gospel. 😊
great message as usual. Living in America and a business owner its really easy to stressed out over things I can't control; the economy, maddening politics and social unrest...when I really look at it I am extremely blessed.
Praise The Lord for your ministry and for the truth and blessing of this message. I have several of your messages in my favorite list and now this message has been added to that list. Thank you for everything you do. Paul from Texas
Thank you for the message ❤️❤️ I always feel isolated and like the biggest loser ever when I hear messages on temptation because I always give in and it makes me feel like I’m not saved but I love Jesus so much very confusing
What about those who have addictions they struggle with ? Once I am triggered and in a state of arousal even after I say I am better than this my lymbic system still nags me in the body and brain and so I have to white knuckle the feelings that persist there ....how do I endure through the withdrawal symptoms after I have said I am dead to this ? My physical body and brain does not recognize that I am dead to this like my spirit does. It's like one says no to scratching a nagging itch on your back and even though you've said no to scratching it, eventually u can't stand the itching and u grab the back scratcher and get rid of the itch ....you have just caved into the sin you said no to a few minutes ago or a few hours ago ....temptation is like a song you cannot get out of your head ....Andrew please tell us how to overcome all these feelings after we have said no to it It's beneath me I'm above it!
Is it the case that the Devil overwhelms us or is it always an Act of our Will ? When I sin in this way I feel almost overtaken. Maybe I am not taking responsibility...
Andrew I don't know if you'll see this, but I feel like I can't know God's will for me. I feel this spirit talk to me, give me feelings that my mind basicly translates to words, and I don't know if it's God. I feel like I can't trust any spirit that tries to lead me because I can't know if it's God or a demon. Please pray for me and give me some advice here.
There are three verses that I would like to encourage you with. In Matthew 6 Jesus said seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added on. The second is Philippians 2:13 which says that it is God who works in your heart both the wanting and the doing of His good pleasure. The third is 1John 4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." The will of God is not a mistery for us to discover. Nothing escapes His will. My recommendation is to read the whole Bible in conversation with God and you will experience the will of God. If you have been born again and are in love with God and His word, then the things you want to do must align with scripture. The Bible reveals the person of God and His attributes as well as His character and demeanor. If the voice aligns with those then it is God. God will never discourage or tempt you to sin.
I would encourage you to read and study the Word. The more you practice listening to the Holy Spirit, the better you get at knowing its Him. In John 10 it says that the sheep knows the voice of the shepherd. Focus on Jesus your Shepherd, not the world, not your sin. But Him and His character and what He has done for you. Be still and know He is God. I think this will help. God bless.
@@karricompton i have cause Him so much pain. i defied Him so much and didn't care... He died for my sins, and i treat Him like trash by how i live...i can never forgive myself for any of the horrible things i've done, things too horrible to be spoken.
Wandering Disciple You obviously belong to Jesus, otherwise you wouldn’t even care about how much you’ve sinned. You agree with God about your sin. Now turn from them and trust Him to lead you into righteousness. Jesus was and is enough. He forgave you, so you can forgive yourself. Move on, knowing His love and forgiveness and life is enough for you and live each day in that knowledge.
@@karricompton a couple days ago i had a voice i was sure was God. It was comforting, warm, peaceful, and even encouraged me to forsake my sins and come to greater joy and peace it offered. I trusted it and it led me on a path to rightousness...or so I thought. When I was in bed, I prayed for any demons that were deceiving me to begone in Jesus's name. The warm, comforting voice left. I was distraught that such a voice I was sure was God...turned out to be just another demon. I cried in despair for over an hour straight. It's rare for me to cry at all about anything because I don't feel much emotion, if any. I finnaly found peace, happiness, and a way out of my wretched sin after countless months in phycological and emotional purgatory...and it was all a lie. I really feel like I can't trust any spirit that tries to talk to me. I felt truly betrayed, like I could never trust anyone anymore. How do I know the next voice won't be just a demon?
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Romans 10:9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1John 5: 10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. .......
I don't think there has ever been a more practical message ever preached. Fantastic! Thanks Andrew and God bless you.
Who else is excited for God’s grace and all the incredible things He is doing !?

Thank you, Lord! Wonderful message!
Sooo true! Thank you Andrew for clearing this up. You're a blessing! All glory to god the father!
“Church without religion” I love that! 😂🙌🏼🙏🏼❤️

Thank you Andrew. For clearing that up. To god be the glory.
Amen brother Andrew.
I just came upon this -. a little late. So much in this teaching I needed to hear. Thank you Andrew
I’m encouraged by this brother
Beautiful message!! I wonder what the two thumbs down are?😢
Probably Calvinists... They hate his message

Yes, a new heart manifests itself in new behaviours.
Wow... Encouraged? Yep.
We are His workmanship ❤
And the ambassadors of Jesus on earth. We are the children of a King ❤
Liked the bit about being 'better' than this. I know these sins especially leave you miserable and depressed.
Thank you. 🙏❤

The best teaching on temptation I've heard.
When do you ever speak of the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit guides man into righteousness. Why do you exclude the power of the Holy Spirit?
Sin exit where is law. Sin is dead through grace
Wow, the thumbnail... lol.
Be Farley who goes to hell?
