I remember when I was very sick.....I only wanted Jesus Christ....my prayer was : I don't deserve to be healed... it's ok Lord, I know that. I want more of Jesus than ever. I beg you for your forgiveness more than the healing. Jesus had mercy on me now when my life it's almost gone". And God revealed me Jesus Christ through The Wonderful Grace by The Word of God. When bartimaeus acknowledged Jesus as the son of David he knew in his heart of hearts that Jesus was the Messiah. This is the only recorded incident of Jesus being in Jericho.
On this day bartimaeus received his spiritual sight as well as his physical site. Can you imagine bartimaeus opening his blind eyes and looking straight into the eyes of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
