This movie broke my heart. It had me in tears by the end of it and so did this edit. The only thing stopping my mental breakdown is that they didn't show us who the guy she got married to is so I'm just gonna assume it's park hyung sik and go on with my life

No her dad passed away and she grew up watching her parents in that situation. It’s very hard and hurtful to leave when you love someone so much. However, when you actually been through those since when you were young, it’s like a goal that set “ I’ll never marry that kind of person”. If she actually married him, they will be happy but he will still have that resentment in his heart. However, there is two possibilities. They will either be so happy and don’t care about it or they will have arguments and resentment that will lead to downfall of marriage. Like what he is the most scare of “ when things hard he is not confident that he made the right choice to be with his gf “ that’s a huge point to leave a person because you do not want your bf who is not confident that they will be proud to be with you even when things are hard.

It’s always going to be in the back of her mind, she doesn’t want to repeat history, and it’s not that she didn’t love him, she loved him enough to let him go. She did the hard part of leaving and I think she did the right choice. You don’t have to stay w/ someone just bc you or they loved each other for a long period of time. Bc it changes for the better or for the worst, and once you start your relationship w/ doubt and possibly resentment then sometimes that just grows and becomes toxic. So it wasn’t an easy choice to leave and she didn’t love him less or not enough, she just loved herself more and that’s not wrong.

I think I'll watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,for the 4th time, I loved the ending and love that Park Hyung Sik didn't give up on winning Park Bo Young over. I think that's the problem with K-dramas, you watch one with a happy ending and then it totally shocks you when they play a part with a sad ending :(

Finished watching this movie. And i just want to say that, the male lead's love for the female lead amazed me.
