The pop-up camera on the OnePlus 7 Pro & 7T Pro Mclaren (which is the longest named phone I've ever had) is amazing. It's just such a nice touch to have a completely unbroken screen, no cutout, just an amazingly curved screen and the pop-up camera works amazingly. No camera cutout is absolutely the way to go!

I really liked my OnePlus 7 Pro, too. It was the first phone in probably a decade that I actually kept for 2 years. I'm a gadget lover and an IT tech, so I usually upgrade every year to one of the new flagship phones from whatever brand that I like the features of best for my needs. I also have T-Mobile's "Jump" plan and it just makes it easy to swap to something new. What I really miss are the days when LG and HTC were still making phones. Especially the HTC One line up with the aircraft aluminum body.
