আবুল কাইয়ুম তালুকদার মনি পেশায় ব্যবসায়ী। তবে বৃক্ষপ্রেম থেকে রাজধানীর সিপাহীবাগের নিজ বাসায় ৩২ বছর আগে গড়ে তুলেছিলেন ছাদ বাগান। এই বাগানে আছে ১০০ টির অধিকজাতের ফল ও সবজির গাছ। যার বেশিভাগই আমেরিকা, থাইল্যান্ড ও ইউরোপের বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে আনা।
