Here are some quick tips if anyone is learning to do the vocals along with the dance. (I'm not that familiar with music theory, so feel free to correct any mistakes I make, if need be.)
The five-member group is grouped into the *higher vocal registers* (three sopranos) and *lower registers* (two tenors.)
My guess is that Nene, Emu, and Miku are in the higher octave (Part 1 - Soprano), while Tsukasa and Rui are in the lower octave (Part 2 - Tenor).
Also, each vocalist has a certain way that they sing. For example, Rui tends to put a little bit of vibrato on the 'ru' syllable in 'aishiteru', along with the fact that he's sounding it out rather than singing it as one whole word.
Here are my own thoughts on each character's vocal style:
Emu - Sometimes reliant on her head voice and nasal tones, while tending to stretch out the ending syllables of longer words, such as 'omoidoori' during her first vocal line. Emu splits the ending suffix 'doori' into two words which would be 'doo-ri'. Not to mention that she's really good at fast-paced songs such as 'Theme of Niccori Survey Team' or 'Love Ka?' Also, very good at higher-key songs and sustained notes.
Tenma Tsukasa - Considering that he's determined to be the 'world's future star' in acting, he often switches between head voice and chest voice when singing, not to mention he puts a lot of rapid-fire tension in his spoken lines during 'Theme of Niccori Survey Team'. He tends to put a slight 'ah' sound to certain words as well. An example would be him singing 'higher' as 'high-ah' in Showtime Ruler. Tsukasa's lower and higher chest voice is much more clearly audible in songs such as 'Oku ni Mesu Mama', especially during the chorus.
Kusanagi Nene - Usually focused on using her softer tone and lower vocal register, which is a bit more audible in 'Chururiru Chururiru Dadada', not to mention that she has one of the higher vocal ranges out of the main characters, being able to hit a D6, which is heard in the second verse of '88 Stars'.
Kamishiro Rui - Similar to Tsukasa, but more reliant on stretching certain words and using slight vibrato. His lower vocal range that has a jazz-like feel to it can be heard in songs such as 'Becoming Potatoes', 'Kyoufuu All Back' and songs like that.
