- Denton Designs followed up the all-time-fave "The Great Escape" with this smashing little number, a 128k-only tribute to the classic black n' white adventure movie, square jaws and all. Fred Gray picked up the musical duties and provided a haunting theme that suited the game perfectly, and although it could've done with being a little longer (at less than a minute and a half it doesn't take long to notice how often it's looping while you're playing) it certainly does an excellent job of adding to the atmosphere.
I hated that hand in the rock, by the way. Bloody thing!
Love this tune!
Great tune!
Oh the memories. Love it
This is a great track - wouldn't be out of place in a gameboy zelda or castlevania.
Good tune for a great game, evoking a lot of memories. But a much longer, maybe slower paced in game tune was required for what could be a lengthy game. You'll soon find yourself turning off the music for the sound effects, which were actually very good and informative.
shout-out to guru larry!
Great game, I never completed it though. I think I always got finished off by a pterodactyl.
