Here's the difference for me.. I love both Dimash and the TNT Boys. But the difference is one is exclusive, the other inclusive. What do I mean? Dimash is inexplicably good. But he's like beauty that's admired from afar. Untouchable. And unreachable. Whereas TNT Boys give warm, dynamic performances that just make the audience feel good. And thanks to their vocal coach/es who hone their talent to perfection and arrange each song to showcase each of their strengths and even their combined strength (their harmonies, etc), their vocal technique is on point as well. They are total performers! I can't help feeling happy and warm after each of their performances! Such amazing talent and adorable attitude! I wish them the best! Rooting for them to win The World's Best coz they deserve it!
Watch how the camera went 360 on them with Francis playing it. This is just another level of performance. Each of them had their moment. Mackie's falsettos and runs. Francis' sassy belts. Keifer's deadly weapon, the whistle and not just any whistle. It's a multi level prolonged whistle. Darn it!
Naiintindihan ko yung comment mo about them being looking mature dito sa Pinas as compared to abroad. Sa tingin ko lang kasi, COMMON kasi sa atin dito na maraming bata na mahusay kumanta, hindi nga lang nabibigyan ng spotlight. That's why as of the moment, these boys are actually doing something phenomenal for kids here in the Philippines their age and younger, they can open a lot of doors like what the Original Filipino cast of Miss Saigon did, headed by Lea Salonga as the original Kim for Musical Theater Artists. Manalo or matalo man sila dito, I'm sure they will go far lalo na ngayon that Brian McKnight has expressed interest in the boys and is ready to produce songs for them. I'm just hoping, this will open doors for our artists to be able to be recognized solidly on the world stage.
Hindi nyo ba napapansin bakit sobrang ganda ng tunog nila pag international stage. Nakikita at naririnig naman natin silang kumanta dito sa Pilipinas. Ibig sabihin lang na mas maganda ang sounds sa first world country like US and UK. Same with 4th impact at Alisa. Kaya ang mga Pinoy na magagaling kumanta pag dating sa ibang bansa lalong gumaganda ang boses nila dahil sa sound quality.

Yes, i agree. If they perform in the Philippines, yung..relax na relax ba. Yubgfeeling at home and they can be playful. They talk to the audience. But if they perform overseas talagang go na go. They are but impressive.

The tone of Mackie's voice is perfect for Whitney Houston’s Songs... In reference to your comment about why the performances outside of the Philippines seem different. I think if you look at their performances at home they are peers with those they perform with and they have a familiarity with the stage and their counterparts which comes across as a sense of maturity. Elsewhere they are always presented as a young singing group and usually are surrounded by adults so their age become very evident and the fact that the sing primarily adult contemporary songs makes their youth even more evident.

I believe you when uou said that when they're here, they performed "maturely" primarily because we Filipinos are fond of sticking to the original score of a song, and of the birit thing. thats why I think when performing here, their coach kept it that way to please the general public. With their exposure to the global stage, and our exposure too to the larger audiences, this might eventually change- from birit to loud voices with more soul, and much attention to vocal creativity. TNT just did it!
