Most of the trucks have two 12 speeds though, the one with overdrive is faster (last gear ratio with less than 1 like Volvo 11.73-0.78).

The speed of truck is depending on engine, chassis, gearbox and the trailers weight you are carrying....
Why my THA only 149km/h .. Engine 770hp, chasis 4x2.
