Legit great walkthrough. I took a small piece of red wire from the Honda harness and bridged it from the red connection to the yellow connection in the Integra harness. Without this video, I would have done the one that ran a power wire from the A-pillar.
Hi, thank you for putting this video together. The hardware swap seems straightforward, but I'm not fully understanding the electrical part. I understand your suggestion to basically bridge the red and yellow wires together, but can you make a diagram on your website perhaps to show what you are talking about in regards to vehicle side and mirror side connections to switched and constant 12V power? If I'm understanding correctly, I wonder if it's possible to simply repin the red wire to where the yellow wire is on the mirror side, rather than making permanent changes.
I’m trying to visualise what you are describing as far as connecting the two wires. Is there any way that you could reach out to me so that I could see a visual representation of what exactly you did?
