Excellent Video! It has been 48 years since I have fished in Lake Kabetogama MN. Good to see that fishing is still great. I would like to visit in the near future. I stayed at Chippewa Lodge as part of the owners family during the summers until 1973. Part of the Chippewa Lodge property is now called Pine Tree cove under new ownership. The property of Pine Tree Cove and Arrowhead Lodge are near the southwest corner of Lake Kabetogama and have a long history. Both are great places to stay for your fishing trip and enjoyment of a relaxing nature experience.

Looks like Kab produced some nice walleyes this year!

Lake must be fished out many resorts and only a few acres to fish... Worst lake I have ever been on, no one was catching anything for a whole week last fall

The weather, location, equipment, skills, and chance are all factors in fishing. Anyone can have a bad week. That's what makes fishing fun. Otherwise there is the grocery store or a freezer. No haters here.

The September week I was there was maybe just a bad week, walleyes generally are well fed in the early fall, even mille lacs can be tough. All I know is what happened.
