He’s playing smart football in a system that compliments his strengths and takes the pressure off of him. He needed to step up in the 2nd half and he did. How will he play when we need to come from behind? We’ll see. I like how we’re taking these early games and just trying to consistently improve. I think our best football has yet to come and we have the potential to become something special and compete instead of stumbling into the playoffs only to get blown out like we have recently.
my fingers are crossed, but anytime you got a rookie qb with not a lot of film for teams to review it's hard to make any kind of assessment. We saw it it with Pickett where his production dissapeared once teams had enough footage to deconstruct his play. You start going into late season games and year 2, that's when you have a better overview of a dude's potential.
This is who Justin feels is. This was his abilities in Chicago- he just was dealt a very bad hand by being thrown into a starting position without any real coaching there. I think the kid was traumatized. You try standing there and have 300 lb humans coming after you ready to knock your lights out and see how you would respond without sufficient coaching. He's a super bright, probably gifted young man, who needs to fully understand what he's doing before he's thrown out in situations where he has to make split-second decisions. The Steelers have given him what he needs and he will only get better.
Key should bring some respectability to the show cause I never watched it before to many sports show & Joy be feeling herself way to much for my liking!
Keyshawn with Tampa Bay used that same formula back in the day- stout defense, minimal mistakes on offense, run the ball. At least Justin is more dynamic than Brad Johnson, oh boy that guy was on his last leg.
BUT if you watch the games.. only reason his stats are not as fluffed as other QBs... is EVERY SINGLE BIG PLAY WE'VE HAD 40 yard pass plus.. is called back for a penalty every single time. SO if we cut some of the offense penalty and smooth out the edges a little more. Its over.
I told everybody Justin was better than what he was in Chicago...but they want to bring up defense like he ain't Ballin...that's why I be wanting to know who really watching the games...
I'm laughing how they making it like Fields was bad last year. That was his best year as a Bear imo. Defense had melt downs almost every 4th quarter last season as if it was rigged
We should have eight!!! Jerry Jones paid for one in '95 and The Mendenhall fumble negates this so yeah we should b on our way to the seventh,it's early tho!!!
I knew what Justin was gonna be, I don’t see how you people are “experts” on judging talent and not see how good he is, he was just on the wrong team.. why can’t y’all see that
IMO: I think Justin Fields was ALWAYS a good quarterback ....... even in Chicago. A quarterback is only as good as his offensive line. Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes would not win with that offensive line in Chicago. Now in Pittsburgh, Fields is behind a better offensive line that allows him to stay in pocket more and make better decisions ......... along with better coaching. And now, Caleb Williams is struggling with that terrible Chicago Bears offensive line!!!
Folks act like coaching, surroundings, and team build doesnt matter. Justin needed to be consistent, while surrounded by inconsistency in every level of the team? Thats the issue with media narratives.
The Steelers have an offensive line. The bears don't have one and Justin ran for his life there and now Caleb is doing the same thing now even after improving the line and WR.
Blows me away these so called experts think Fields progression is due to Tomlin, it's all Author Smith's coaching and offensive scheme, this man is a genius. If we would have had him as a coach long ago the Steelers would have gone farther every year.
Fields is making passes like Ben used to. Thread the needle passes where you like , how was that not intercepted? Now some of those will be intercepted, but just like Ben’s TD to Santonio in the Super Bowl, you gotta rip it and take the risk . Love what I’m seeing from Fields .
It takes time for a team gell. The Quarterback must form the chemistry with his O Line, the Running Backs, his Receivers, and his Offensive Coordinator. There should be improvements every week, however the setbacks are inevitable. Injuries to key players such as a Left Tackle, or the Center can alter the chemistry the QB has developed with his Offense. We witnessed the effect of the loss a key Defensive Player when TJ Watt went down two seasons ago. It placed added pressure on both sides of the ball to score more points than the other team, while the Defense was tasked to hold their opponents to a minimum amount of points. Therefore in referring to Justin Fields, he is a new everything; city, team Offensive Coordinator and expectations. He is building trust with Pickins, and Friermouth, and the Defense with addition of Patrick Queen are playing lights out. Let's have this discussion on Christmas Day after their game.
It’s like they just stay watch and don’t watch the games.. bringing up scores and stats .. if you watch the games penalties wiped stuff off the board.. his stats would be better and we’d def have scored more points
It BLOWS my mind that we have Paul Pierce talking g about Justin Fields bro Already said don’t every sport and game like he does the NBA so why am I looking at him give a take off of Numbers and paper ? When there is Soo much more Context to a game than the numbers !!
I think ppl on these understand how much progress he was making in Chicago under a bad organization. From year 1 to his last year in Chicago he was making plays and reads when he can with that atrocious O line. Now he has everything from top to bottom and he’ll flourish going forward
Have they watched steeler games? 20 pts last week but easily 27 as they took a knee at 1 yd line at the end. Other games several penalties took away more points that wasn’t Justin’s fault and soon if Justin stays disciplined. This will be the only talk we hear
Pittsburgh Steeler football defense slash offense. They can get to the playoffs like that. Fields has to up his passing game. They can do that off the run with the two beast they have in the back field. Coaching not wanting fields to open up just yet, looks alike like Ohio football. Johnson n Pierce talk to the viewers some time. And get the wardrobe to gather fellas! You guys are legends! Dress like it! Get on em JoY!

@@matthewwilliams4168 So the Falcons who beat the Eagles and arguably beat the Chiefs are bad? The Broncos who beat the Bucs that were 2-0 are bad? The Chargers who were 2-0 and had arguably the best defense before Week 3 is bad? When will y'all provide the Steelers credit?
Preach key. Said it all in the first 20 seconds
Field is good. Chicago just didn't want to build an oline around him or give him solid pieces at wr or rb
Hes terrible
Pierce was dying to say "pause" when kj told Russ to "stay loose" 😂
Shows how much good coaching matters of course he can grow lastly mo one oerson wins 3 games it takes a team
You was the first person who want Justin Fields gone out of Chicago, Now you say I'm impressed, Really. What you going to say next time. 😂😂😂😂😂Really
Bruh, it's the steelers... they won games with Pickett and rudolph. This is what they do 😂
Duck hodge went 3-0
Justin Fields is way better than Pickett and Rudolph you’ll see at the end of the year when we pick up that Lombardi trophy 🏆
@@raymondrios1905 can you send me whatever it is that you're smokin?
@@raymondrios1905Lol, slow down there

He’s playing smart football in a system that compliments his strengths and takes the pressure off of him. He needed to step up in the 2nd half and he did. How will he play when we need to come from behind? We’ll see. I like how we’re taking these early games and just trying to consistently improve. I think our best football has yet to come and we have the potential to become something special and compete instead of stumbling into the playoffs only to get blown out like we have recently.
I love the show. As long as Acho isn’t on. I will not watch this program when he is on.
my fingers are crossed, but anytime you got a rookie qb with not a lot of film for teams to review it's hard to make any kind of assessment.
We saw it it with Pickett where his production dissapeared once teams had enough footage to deconstruct his play. You start going into late season games and year 2, that's when you have a better overview of a dude's potential.
Y’all hating too much, these shows have ppl who’ve never played sport talk about it but your mad because Paul is talking football
Justin Fields through three games with the Steelers has completed 73.3% of his passes 2TDs 1int and 1 rushing TD.
I want to see Justin agaisnt better teams/ who Qb can score points. Right now they has been blessed playing teams who Qb are injured or new to the nfl
Not bad for a guy who doesn;t throw very often
We’re playing December football in week 3 😂😂 everyone else still in preseason.
Justin Fields also played in the preseason so he has a better feel for the speed of the game and the offense
Lmmaaao watch bears ask for russel willson as backup roll since hes fimiliar with the offense
He ain't balling. Are you watching the games?
@@PatriotWatchUSA iight just watch the game
They scored 27 we kneeled at their one yard line
Justin Fields making yall eat yall words start watching the games before talking
I've watched the games. Steelers are winning against bad teams due to their defense.
I'm laughing how they making it like Fields was bad last year. That was his best year as a Bear imo. Defense had melt downs almost every 4th quarter last season as if it was rigged
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking. Why make up stories?
He matched a top 3 defense in the chargers... No excuses my boy balling
Miami call for Russ !!
RIGHT NOW!!!!
Dolphins kuntry laces out 😂
We should have eight!!! Jerry Jones paid for one in '95 and The Mendenhall fumble negates this so yeah we should b on our way to the seventh,it's early tho!!!
joy having to walk back so many fields and jets takes this year lol love it
Here we go steelers here we go..Pittsburgh's probably goin to the superbowl
Slow golf clap for Joy Taylor! Way to go with your take on Justin Fields!
Wilson: I wunna be war lord
Fields: Make your move
I knew what Justin was gonna be, I don’t see how you people are “experts” on judging talent and not see how good he is, he was just on the wrong team.. why can’t y’all see that
The differences are a better oline and a competent coaching staff.
He's got a coach and GM who believes in him , never had that in Chicago
Folks act like coaching, surroundings, and team build doesnt matter.
Justin needed to be consistent, while surrounded by inconsistency in every level of the team?
Thats the issue with media narratives.
Stick around. Don't go anywhere.
The Steelers have an offensive line. The bears don't have one and Justin ran for his life there and now Caleb is doing the same thing now even after improving the line and WR.
The people who have NOT locked themselves in are these two gentlemen. Joy is a professional and deserves better athletes to run this show.
Keysean always spitting facts cool
Calm collect
Blows me away these so called experts think Fields progression is due to Tomlin, it's all Author Smith's coaching and offensive scheme, this man is a genius. If we would have had him as a coach long ago the Steelers would have gone farther every year.
only problem is he did throw a pick today.. so he has turned it over although i say ride with Fields tbh hes playin well
Fields is making passes like Ben used to. Thread the needle passes where you like , how was that not intercepted? Now some of those will be intercepted, but just like Ben’s TD to Santonio in the Super Bowl, you gotta rip it and take the risk . Love what I’m seeing from Fields .
In LeFleur and Haf we trust!!!!
Joy!!!😮💨
Wal-Mart is paying Russ over 30 mil to be a secondary qb coach for Pittsburgh.
Walmart has a placeholder as their general manager. They beat the buccaneers tho; in spite of that clown.
It’s like they just stay watch and don’t watch the games.. bringing up scores and stats .. if you watch the games penalties wiped stuff off the board.. his stats would be better and we’d def have scored more points
Jf 8-3 last 11 games
Pierce is getting a lil better with his takes. just a little
It BLOWS my mind that we have Paul Pierce talking g about Justin Fields bro Already said don’t every sport and game like he does the NBA so why am I looking at him give a take off of Numbers and paper ? When there is Soo much more Context to a game than the numbers !!
Why is Paul Pierce …nvm man 😂
I think ppl on these understand how much progress he was making in Chicago under a bad organization. From year 1 to his last year in Chicago he was making plays and reads when he can with that atrocious O line. Now he has everything from top to bottom and he’ll flourish going forward
They should have had 27 points yesterday
Have they watched steeler games? 20 pts last week but easily 27 as they took a knee at 1 yd line at the end. Other games several penalties took away more points that wasn’t Justin’s fault and soon if Justin stays disciplined. This will be the only talk we hear
Love the new format. Love that Joy can talk now, she's a great analyst..shady and acho not so much
doesnt matter if he hasnt earned the spot. You can never switch QBs when on a winning streak.
Fields is getting the same treatment Purdy was getting last year game manager dont loose the game and weapons around him
JF will never be half as good as Purdy.
Leave Justin alone he's doing a good job don't disrupt thing's
Pittsburgh Steeler football defense slash offense. They can get to the playoffs like that. Fields has to up his passing game. They can do that off the run with the two beast they have in the back field. Coaching not wanting fields to open up just yet, looks alike like Ohio football.
Johnson n Pierce talk to the viewers some time. And get the wardrobe to gather fellas! You guys are legends! Dress like it! Get on em JoY!
Be still my heart, I’ve never heard Joy Taylor be in any way positive about JF. Has her opinion changed because Shady isn’t on the show anymore??
I was low-key upset when Joy wasn’t on the Justin Fields bandwagon. Joy welcome back to the nation.
She will be off it again very soon.
