People in the West look up to successful people with a lot of money. But we should all look up to these people, we could learn a lot from them. I feel deep respect for these women, but I also find it deeply distressing….people should be able to work long past retirement, if that’s what they want to do. But, my goodness! Their physical struggles make my heart hurt.
Why worry about it, or even write about it? Since you have, I’ll share my thoughts….for one thing, it seems really bad manners to imply criticism of people in foreign countries, as though they don’t know how to be clean, and I personally find that deeply insulting. And everybody knows that when people say, “No disrespect,” something disrespectful is surely going to follow! Next, these videos are heavily edited (if you hadn’t noticed), so the videographer could have thought the cleaning process was boring and cut it out. On the other hand, If there was ever a problem with cleanliness, then the restaurant would have been closed. If it’s not been closed, then it’s not a problem and I guess they know what they’re doing! Didn’t these thoughts occur to you?? Here’s a bit of advice I know you won’t take, but if you have to go to the trouble of writing, “No disrespect,” stop yourself, delete it, and leave it alone.
