    Recommendation of shoes to where in yosemite!! Can I get away with low cut hiking shoes or definitely need mid cut? Love the content!! Been helpful for up coming trip!!

    • @TheLoversPassport

      Thanks Brian! We would recommend low cut shoes especially for this summer because it gets hot! If you are backpacking a lot then I would go for the mid cut so you have some more support!

    Thanks for all the great info guys, a friend and myself visiting Yosemite in April this year and wanted to hike the four mile trail to glacier point. Not clear if we can do it in April as glacier point road is closed but the four mile trailhead is not closed to traffic right? As you mentioned in the video that you did the hike in winter, so I guess the hike is doable all year around and only the road closes in winter. Can you guys clarify? Would great appreciate it 🤗

    • @TheLoversPassport
      @TheLoversPassport  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should be able to still do the trail, but there is a chance that the connecting trail up to glacier might have the gate closed! You can also ask the ranger station when you visit to confirm current conditions!

    • @TheLoversPassport
      @TheLoversPassport  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure you have your 10 essentials, headlamp, and trail data and you should theoretically have no problems getting back! There’s also a few signs with arrows!
