Love these 30 min challenges. It make us do without thinking as much. I think it helps me be more creative. I do this with house work also. It’s one of my least favorite things to do. But I do my chores before I can craft. Lol. ❤😊
Your mama is so proud of you! She said we should ask to see your many wonderful journals. I'll be watching! I'm sure you are awesome... being E's daughter.
Very thankful to have helpful kiddos! 😁 Soo blessed for sure! Ps. I love yours and your mama's videos. You ladies gave me the confidence and help I needed to make my own junk journals and I love creating them.. now as for my hubby, he thinks I'm weird cuz I won't let him throw anything away without me inspecting it hahahaha!!!
Mom thought I’d lost it last night when I snatched the inner bag & box from the Crunch ‘n Munch we’d just enjoyed. Well, not so much the box, w/out a doubt she was wondering when it came the bag. When she came back from getting her hair cut, for the first tine in a long time yesterday afternoon, she saw why I’d done that. I needed something Metallic for my own small circle snippets, so I cut the bag into long strips, then folded them accordion/stair steps like & positioned the folds into a fan shape. I stapled that onto the circle. On top of that, I put teeny Disney characters, Princesses w/1 & Minnie, Daisy & Mickey stickers from a couple of their Valentine’s School Class sets I’d got in February & that I’d put onto Construction Paper scraps a few weeks ago & then cut out. Some were fussy cut & others I just left as the squares they were. That’s what I put on top of where the fan was stapled w/good old Aleene’s Tacky Glue. I was a bit iffy w/how it was looking while still wet, but after it was dry, it held perfectly. One of the Princess stickers I’d fussy cut was Belle. My 2020 Calendar had been pictures of Floral Bouquets. So I’d used the small photos that’s always on the back, to show what all the pages looked like, & cut some of those w/my circle punch, but there were some that were so pretty & showy. So, I was able to sort of fussy cut those out. One was such a pretty Coral Rose &, since Belle’s flower is a Rose, thought that maybe I could glue that to the back of Belle in a way it wouldn’t completely cover it. Then, I’d glue that to the circle w/the fan I’d stapled to. Not only did it work, but it’s so pretty looking too. Wasn’t sure that brain storm of mine would end up working, but thankfully this one did. 😊 I was originally going to use these for Hidden Paper Clips, but now I’m thinking they’ll work perfectly for places on pages that I want to draw attention to in a Journal. I’m very active in the Disney Community here on YT & would love to make some Disney themed Journals for my Friends for Birthday Presents, Christmas Presents or for a Swap Box theme I hope to take part in soon. And all thanks to me grabbing that Silver Bag from Mom before she threw into the Garbage. 😁. I love your Mom’s channel, so obviously I had to make my way over here too. I’ve learned so much from her over these last couple of years & can’t wait to see what’s next, now from both of you!! 😊😊. All of you Take Care & Stay Safe!! 😊😷
@@denisecampbell6736 They sound like they came out beautifully! Ilove hearing about others creative ideas and I love Disney too. I have made a Nightmare Before Christmas themed junk journal and OMG it's chunky and sooo amazing! I used soo many page ideas, flips and tucks from Melina and Edith! My next project is going to be an Alice In Wonderland bunk journal which I will start tonight or tomorrow.. I'm soo eager to work on it I may not sleep lol!
@@crazyonu99 i've done that a time or two myself. You’re in the groove & having fun & suddenly..."It’s 4am...How'd that happen!?!" 😁🤣😁. NBC is the only Disney movie I just plain don't like, but that's more due to it being a Tim Burton movie. Outside of the 1st Batman, I really can't stand his Films I'm afraid. I've tried watching NBC many times, but It’s just not for me. I was so excited for it too, as I've always been fascinated by Stop Motion Films & TV, but...Nope!! One film I do love & hadn't watched in years is 101 Dalmatians. W/all the Cruella buzz, I decided to watch it on Disney+ a couple of weeks ago & I'd forgotten just how great a Movie it is. I really need to do that more w/The Classic Disney Movies over there. Right now thanks to the launch of Starz & having all of the 20th Century Fox Entertainment Catalog now up over there....Some of my Favourite Space/Sci Fi Movies are up now. Not to mention quite few others. Been completely enjoying going through all the Seasons of MASH again. Sigh...What a great show that was & still is. 😊 I think I've babbled enough for now. 😊. Good Luck w/the Alice Journal!!
Hey! I watched this video again and I still Love'em! U did and awesome job putting everything together. When u show them close up it's amazing how absolutely beautiful they look!! Perfect! I don't know if I can cut out such tiny pieces but I have to give it a try! Thank u Melina for sharing!
Loved this challenge! I just didn’t remember to post a comment. It’s one way I know I crafted right along with the video and you Melina. Thank you for these videos!
Beautiful! I just put all your msscrapbusters videos in a play list and am now starting to watch through them. Marathon!! I won’t be making any till I get the glasses I still need after my cataract surgery though :-)
I have a bunch of scraps given to me by a friend recently. This video, the first in your series, popped up in my feed so I watched it to see what you made. I liked it so much that I featured this challenge in my video this week (aires tomorrow on 1/13/23). Hope you'll check it out and see what you think! Thanks for sharing so many great ideas. Have a terrific weekend! ~ Marci 💖
Sounds like fun 😃 🙏🏻💕. I am new to scrapbooking. I started with old photos and souvenirs adding embellishments lace and fabric bits. I Love this idea. Saving up for a printer so I can buy digitalis. Any suggestions where I can purchase physical scraps since I am so new to the craft ? My heart is in it already. Thank you for sharing your talent. update 😃 I foundEtsy I am going to be attacking my mail man Lol
Love this idea! And I love your videos. Question... when should you use distress ink over distress oxide? I know the oxide sits “on top” of the paper, but I still don’t get the benefit of one over the other. TFS! ❤️
Hi! Thank you! I like using the oxide inks when I’m watercoloring to bring out the droplet look the oxides bring when water is added. I also like using those when I’m dealing with glossy papers/card stocks since they are a pigment ink and will stay better without smearing once dry. The oxides also have a beautifully, chalky look when blended onto dark card stocks and papers. The regular distress inks are my go to since I mainly edge white or cream paper but once I get out a nice kraft or charcoal card stock, the oxides usually come out to get a more vivid look 😊
Helllo, I'm a new subscriber! I would love to join this challenge. I have a lot of scraps! I could make 100 of these and still have enough scraps to make 100 more, lol. I hope it is okay for a new subscriber to join? Love how your clusters turned out!

Does it matter what type of glue you use?
no, glue stick, elmer's, double sided tape, whatever you have.
What is fussy cutting?
cutting around images and then pasting to something else
I can't fid episode 2 anywhere, does it still exists?
