Episode 408: Gundappa's Test

Tathacharya gets another opportunity to trouble Pandit Rama when Gundappa's identity is revealed to Krishnadevaraya. Tathacharya announces that Gundappa will be allowed into the Gurukul only when he passes a test. Tathacharya asks Gundappa to get a pot of ghee without buying or borrowing it. How will Gundappa accomplish this task? Watch the episode and find out.
About Tenali Rama

The show traces the journey of a 20-year-old boy, Tenali Rama who dreams of becoming rich and famous but is too lazy to pursue his dreams. When Tenali gets forced into marriage and is compelled to earn a living, a revered saint asks him to go to the temple of the village and recite a specific mantra. Tenali does as he is told and Goddess Kali appears in front of Rama with a bowl of milk and bowl of curd asking him to pick one but Tenali ends up tasting both leaving Kali furious. Later, Tenali reasons out by explaining that what is the use of one without the other. Goddess Kali gets impressed by his wit and says he will become a Vaikatavi, a jesting poet in Krishnadevarayas court. Tenali Rama leaves for Hampi with a desire to become a part of Rayas court.
This popular series narrates the journey of Tenali who solves cases with his timely wit and intelligence due to which he becomes very popular in the Kings court.

Since my Great Grandfathers generation (from my mothers side) we have been all BORN and brought up in Kuwait, but Id like to know more about my country of origin and about the place where my dad is from. I would have been Kuwaiti but my dad is from India, thus im originally Indian but I cannot speak native languages of India and hence depend on these serials with subtitles to learn them slowly. my dad said Vijaynagar was situated in Hyderabad (his place) although, my mum's great grandfather came from Goa and Her great grandmother came from Mumbai. I wholeheartedly thank SAB TV and Colors TV for uploading Indian serials from India💕🤗

@Akash . I know it's drama, but so much unnecessary tension made me stop watching it. In reality Tenali Rama was a respectable man and so was Tathaacharya. The wrong potrayal not only makes it a tiresome watch but also a misinformation among viewers. These people were and are our heritage not some comedic relief.
