1994 Australian Manufacturers Championship Round 2, Phillip Island Race 1, Two-Litre Touring Cars

More 2-litre touring car racing from Down Under, this the first of two races from Phillip Island in 1994. This was the first year of what became 'Super Touring' in Australia with a small field of mainly ex-Group A cars converted to suit the new regulations. The late, great Darrell Eastlake in the commentary box and a young Kiwi Greg Murphy on track making his Aussie touring car racing debut in the ORIX Toyota Carina.

Was the Phillip Island Rounds also staged a bit? When seeing the newer BMW's they were not pushing it much.
