Great choice of vehicle. I think it’s the best intercontinental tourer. Safe, comfortable, bags of space. Look at the discovery owners forum, great source of information and help. Mine also needs the water pump housing changed . Good luck on your trip

@ it’s on the web. Another really good source of information is LR time on you tube. German couple who are funny as hell, but he knows discos inside out. Definitely worth a watch. Another thing to go when you can is do a automatic gearbox flush, but use the correct fluid. I’ve had to replace a gearbox due to leaking fluid , and they are supposed to be filled for life. Apart from that regular oil changes and use 5w40 oil

@ and when you flush the gearbox, you need to get it up to temp, and switch it through the gears a few times as you fill. Good luck
