The other three are rendered nonfunctional by one or both parties' anxiety, inability to communicate, and romanticized idealization of the other. With Marichat, there's no pressure. It's just two friends who bonded over their similar problems and just started hanging out. It's what a mature, healthy relationship looks like once the initial passion and infatuation fades a bit and both partners accept each other for who they are.

And marinette becomes NORMAL, a little sassy, less clumsy, and altogether an enjoyable character. Take chat away from Mari and you have a stalker, clumsy, stupid girl who just gets whatever she wants cuz she’s the lead girl.
Marichat is the best ship cuz like they've both rejected and they understand each other. And the fact that marichat is basically adrien hitting on marinette and princess is just so iconic

I recommend Doublejeu as another installment to the Marichat Comic dubs, it's not as action heavy so most of the vocal/animation work can go into dialogue timing, and it's definitely worthy of your team's skills!
