Leona's Workshop does garage kits but she does some 3D printed ones too. Some of the methods she uses to do her figures might help you out. She does shading with pastels, uses watercolor pencils for fine details, airbrushing, & explains the base and top costs to use for what she does. Her description boxes give a lot of info on what she uses. I don't do kits, I just like her art & personality lol. But I do crafty stuff & enjoy watching artists do their thing too 😊

do they make the transparent mix in other colors or could you put some of the cmyk into the transparent mix ? i feel like having a transparent colored doll would be super neat !! or maybe even making some body parts (like the legs or hands) transparent and some pieces opaque ? love the way the doll turned out, shes so cute !! (also ur bird is sooo precious !!)
i'm pretty sure there's transparent resin for printers. if you're interested in seeing a transparent doll, moonlight jewel recently made one in her 10h vs 100h doll video. just based on that one, transparent bjds do look incredible and i'd love ettelan to make one like that.
For the name of the sculpt I’m thinking Astra, it comes from the latin and greek words Astralis and Astron and it means star. I adore her face but to me her features are a bit alien looking (she would look so cool as an alien doll!) and the stars on her face up just remind me of space and celestial imagery so I think she should have a space themed name.
My cat accompanied me as I watched the video and he really enjoyed the parts with your bird, the doll is absolutely gorgeous though and she gives Venus, Nebu ,or Saturn vibes

Getting blushing to look right on grey is SO HARD and you did it beautifully!! She turned out soooo cutie, you captured the floaty sparkly eye effect incredibly with all your layers. And congrats on sculpting the entire doll!!! For name options I feel like Astraya (Uh-stray-uh) or Santhe (like from Chrysanthemum) might be really cute!
This one came out super cute! I really appreciate more people making and documenting the process of custom 3d-printed dolls. It opens up soooo many possibilities for the kinds of dolls people can make in the future, and also more hope that some of my favorite dolls will expand from super limited manufacturing runs to dolls I can have printed myself when the main stock runs out.

i’ve been watching you since your junji ito uzumaki doll repaint and i won’t ever stop enjoying your videos, it’s so cool to see how far you’ve come and i love all the dolls you paint/ make. A few years ago i tried to make my own (failed miserably), even though i have a phobia of dolls since i was a kid. But watching your videos, so comforting and well made i wanted to try it on my own and my mum bought me the same little scissors (with the bird on it) and it brings me joy to see it in every video of yours.
