Moment woman steals gun from security guard and opens fire in Chile

- This is the moment a detainee in #Chile stole a security guard’s #gun and opened fire on those around her.
The incident took place at Lo Valledor market in Santiago and was captured on livestream.
Three people were reportedly wounded in the shooting, including a cameraman who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Sounds like the guard (officer?) needs a more secure holster.

Well, there are quite the protests going on every now and then, its just the armor for these situation when protest goes south and becomes violent or a riot, so the cops inside are safe as long aa they remain inside but yeah, even tough its for security reasons it looks cool xd

Shows how much humans are just animals driven by instinct. There was absolutely no reason for her to do that or any way it could have possibly improved her situation, yet she still did it. She probably won't ever even understand how she was at fault here. Fascinating.

@@HausdorffDimension Doesnt matter, his job is to be between danger and civilians. He was right there, he could have stopped it before she fired a shot, if he was actually paying attention. Then he could have stopped it again after he was shot, he was right there. Running away shouldnt have even been a thought in his mind

El vigilante ( que es un guardia armado ) es el del azul, no lo esposó por presión social que se vive en Chile con el gobierno actual , ya que si lo hiciera , es posible que la TV y el gobierno lo hubieran criticado, pero desafortunadamente esto pasó igual al no proteger su arma correctamente.
El Carabinero ( Policía de Chile ) es el de verde , no sé porque no lo arresto , la verdad creo que si falló ahí .

What I want to know is what was she been arrested for in the first place for I noticed one of the officers had taken a bladed object from her but had she attacked someone with it but I would love to know what had brought the police out to arrest her.
The place is like a food market that started this very first day to request a identification document to allow people to enter, the lady didnt show hers and got violent when she was controlled

Cop cars mad max = because of riots that started in 2019 and lasted several months, they were extremelly serious

Poor firearms discipline on the part of the security guard. Whenever their someone that can be a threat, gun retention should always be on your mind. The cops got a suspect, you'd better believe that gun side is away from them just in case.
