I’m right where Apple is now, I too have stage 4 cancer of the left lung (non small cell) and will be starting treatments soon. The emotional part is crushing. I pray I have a different outcome but I have a feeling I’m not going to survive. I block that thought out constantly but it keeps sinking back into my mind. Like a whisper in my ear but it’s not my voice. My heart breaks for this young mother I can’t even imagine the pain, my babies are all grown up, only one at home. I’m doing holistic treatments right now but I’ll still try chemo & immunotherapy as well. Maybe the combination and with Jesus healing hand I’ll survive. Please pray for strength & healing for me & my family!God Bless🙏🏻💕

Watching this Oct 17th 2023, realizing life is so unfair. I haven’t treated my body great in my 35 years.
I’m a recovering addict and this makes me feel awful.
People living healthy lives shouldn’t have to deal with this.

    • @Jennifer_150

I feel that guilt too. 🥺❤
But, we all do what we do in order to survive, or just feel “ok” and get trough another day in this life.
It’s hard, I can totally relate; but try not to beat yourself up for not living a perfectly healthy life… very few of do. Disease is *often* indiscriminate.
Let’s just support those who are less fortunate - that’s something we *can* focus on in a healthy way and feel better about ourselves too!
      ❤🌈🌟🌷

We love the word “holding steady” we hate the words think positive I have ra and those trite words are meaningless because it means nothing and don’t they think we know this. I disagree. I think being positive does and can change things. It isn't guaranteed but in the same breath you say stop telling her to be positive yow saying basically let's just be negative but I'd argue that being negative isn't going to change things. People are only trying to uplift and support her. Being positive doesn't mean you can't be scared or afraid or sad. It just means you allow yourself to feel those feelings and still remain hopeful with a positive outlook. She literally asked for people to say prayers and positive things for her at the end of the video as well as said she was going to remain positive so I don't think anyone who said be positive should be scolded for doing so. Try it sometime. It's hard when the world is falling down around you but it's better than laying there and crying while it does. She's a fighter and she will fight, she may fight with tears streaming down her face but she's not gonna give up and throw in the towel. That's all that matters.

Toxic positivity is not helpful. Can we just stop with the constant message that we have to be positive every minute, and allow for some natural and normall responses and feelings to a terrible situation?

It don’t matter if you are healthy or not. Yes being unhealthy can spark it sooner but what it really is are the bodies cells not breaking down like they should and that cell keeps growing and if there’s C world in the blood it can spread to other parts of the body and latch on and grow some more. It really sucks and we need a cure for this.

To a huge part it is only decided by luck. Some of us can smoke and drink and live till 80 and some of us get cancer and die with 16.
But nevertheless you should take care of your body.

    • @ryans413

@@don6160 people that smoke and drink probably can live without getting the C word but they are not healthy they have lung issues liver issues high blood pressure they can gain weight. Might not get the C word but will get other issues. A family friend of ours drinks a lot and the last time I saw them they will overweight and struggled breathing just walking to the other end of the room. They are trying to cut back but they are addicted.

My heart broke for her as I have watched these videos from the end and moving up to the beginning.. yes she took very good care of her body and soul, healthy, ate right. I wondered why and as I prayed and watched these I realized there absolutely WAS an ‘open door’ … the body and mind are important, but we are a 3 part being. Our spirit is connected to Almighty God and it is the part of our being that lives forever. Take this seriously please, as I know that many poo poo the reality of a spirit that belongs to God and lives inside our body and it is connected to our mind and emotions as we walk through this earth journey…. the open door in this case was the practice of an exercise connected to a demonic root. Believe it or not, that is a powerful spiritual entity and it can and does have the ability to enter your body and cause early demise. This is the practice of Yoga, which seems so innocuous, innocent and even healthy but in reality it is an open door for the demonic, the darkness which we are warned about if only we would listen and believe .. the Lord says ‘My people perish for lack of knowledge’ and this is just ONE example of that truth.. again I am SO VERY SORRY for this precious young woman’s early death, BUT let it not be in vain! If only one person sees this and realizes the truth , may it set them FREE to believe and take seriously the warning of dealing with entities that are demonic, other worldly ‘gods’ who seek our harm! We are made in the image of God, the Lord Almighty who came to earth in the flesh, as a man, to give us the opportunity to be free from the lies of the enemy who hates God and us, and who is only here to kill steal destroy and deceive! In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth now receive the truth and be free from these lies, let the truth of the Word of God set you free from the lies. As it is written so be it, amen. Bless you all. I pray this will save someone’s life.

@@jennyapple4704 I wanted to go to the U.K. and particularly Scotland when I was young. My dad took us to England unfortunately a week after Princess Diana died and we had already arranged to go to Paris as well, so we were in the worst places to be during that time.
I married an Englishman and now live in the U.K. near Bath - the prettiest city in the U.K. and the world’s only city where the entire city is a world heritage site. But we went to Edinburgh and it was incredible. You don’t know me. At all, but if I could help you in arranging a Scotland trip, I can point you to how you can travel the most comfortably and the cheapest. We found a train trip from London to Edinburgh and a 4 star hotel including breakfast for three days and including hotel and train it was only £65 a person. If you make it over here, you need to see Bath.
My email is on my channel should you ever want any advice/help/guide in the Bath area. Stay strong. Remember it’s okay to be sad, to be happy, to be scared. This is YOUR journey, YOUR life and YOUR cancer. I have had cervical cancer twice and I can’t imagine how strong you have to be to walk your path.
Don’t let anyone dictate how you should feel or act. I personally don’t believe in God, but if you do, your faith will help, but remember that everyone lives their own life, and no one will ever walk in your shoes, and that means you get to do what you want with your own life.
I won’t tell you to be positive or judge you for any decisions you may or how you act. And remember that you don’t owe anyone anything and don’t let anyone make you feel like what you’re doing is wrong. There is no “right” answer.
Just know that by sharing this, you’re opening yourself up to this world of compassionate people who want to see you happy, but will virtually hold your hand through the worst of this. We’re all here. Sharing your journey is brave and incredibly honest and you’re helping others going through this horrible disease. And never apologise. This isn’t your fault.
Lots of cheering and tears and support from a 🇨🇦 in the 🇬🇧

I'm so sorry honey. My brother in law had brain cancer, that covered the whole right side of his brain. It was inoperable.
He went through hell, but his oncologist implanted the chemo on to the tumor. It has been 18 yrs. and he is doing fantastic. He has got to watch his son grow.
Enjoy everyday even when your sad, exhausted and feel like shit.
Who knows why this happens, but fight, fight hard!! Yell at the damn cancer, tell it "your not going to win this fight, I am, my husband is and my kids are. " I believe it's also helpful that you write, write your feelings, about each day good or bad. Everything
I also believe you need to write a letter to the cancer and tell it how you feel
I want you to read it out loud and then burn it.

One day I was called in and knew something wasn't going to be good . The oncologist asked the nurse what my attitude was . I wasn't delighted . He came in visibly upset . You have Stage 4 . . Oh well . What do we do ? By the time the visit ended. We were both laughing and talking about something else . Keep a happy heart . Yes you will cry but keep smiling and laughing . I have lost count on all the scans ,needles and visits . I was at The Cancer Center today .. " Hey .. I am here for my oil change " .. I have found goodness in having cancer. It will open your eyes! Things that were once important aren't , True kindness and love is more clearly seen . Most of all . It will bend Your knees and learn to rely on The Lord .

My brother had stage 2 rectal cancer and refused the colostomy bag and he died 1.5 years later. I begged him to take charge of his health and forget his vanity. He just would not adhere to his treatment protocol. He got sick of radiation and he goofed up on his chemo appointments. He could have been saved but he thought he was invincible. You are taking charge of your life. I admire you so much.

I started binge watching all your videos and it’s crazy. It goes from fantasyland perfect to something a nightmare is made out of. At least you have a lot of support from family and friends on TH-cam. Some people don’t even have that so at least you should be thankful for that but I know it’s hard to be thankful for anything when you’re going through something so terrible. Cancer, my mom died of cancer last October 2022. My father-in-law died of cancer about seven years ago. My uncles father died of cancer about 10 years ago. Two of my mom‘s best friends died of cancer before she died of cancer it’s crazy. I just hope they find a cure before more people have to suffer, RIP you beautiful soul

Had same feelings when my mom was diagnosed she was the last person you would think would get it ... Never smoked a cigarette or anything for that matter! Never had a drink of alcohol and definitely no drugs! Not overweight yet inherited a gene from her mothers side of family that greatly increased her chances of getting cancer! R.I.P. MAMA and all the luck to you and yours !

Cancer is not fair. Unhealthy behaviors increase risk, but ultimately everyone is at risk and cancer takes hold unpredictably. So sorry to this family and especially those wonderful children for this terrible situation.

So true! Some cancers are random, others, like Jenny's - are caused by genetic mutations (EGFR exon 20 insertion in Jenny's case). Starts in the lungs, ends up in the brain, which is usually the cause of death. So most of the time we have no idea why folks get cancer, but in Jenny's case - it's somewhat predictable. If I were them, I'd have those 2 cute kiddos tested for the gene mutation. That wicked EGFR gene is in my friends family & so far it's killed his mother & his sister at young ages - same exact pattern of lung then brain. He also carries EGFR mutation & was just diagnosed with lung cancer...so he's just starting on this journey. It's a hell of a mutation as you can see from Jenny's most recent videos of just having a few months to live. All so tragic. Take care.

Not sure why this video was recommended to me. But so happy i found your channel. Both my parents went through cancer. My mom was told she had months left to live and i was only 5.. well my mother beat the cancer and i turned 41 in march. My father went through similar he was diagnosed with apl leukemia 3 weeks after his 80th birthday and he just turned 84. His cancer been in remission. One thing i learned about cancer with both my parents is mindset. My father was always in a great mood and not sure how even on the darkest days.. he told me never fold. Smile and live your life. I was really young when my mother was sick but i heard tbe stories of chemotherapy and ups and downs..miracles happen every day. Stay positive❤🙏🏽 make sure u have a good team.

This absolutely breaks my heart. Jenny, you are such an amazing and strong woman. I lost my fiance' from lung cancer. It spread to his liver and pancreas. He was only 30 years old. He never smoked either and was overall healthy. I lost my brother at the age of 42 from melanoma. It spread to his lymph nodes and brain. Cancer is no respecters of persons. I hate it so much. I'm so sorry for all you and your family are going through. I'm sending you all love, hugs, and lots of prayers.

Dearest Jenny. The saddest thing is that cancer is not a punishment to those who for some reason might 'deserve' it. I heard one man talk about when he got his diagnosis, he didn't say, 'Why me?', but rather, 'Why not me?'. I can't imagine what you are going through, but I know it must be the most scary journey. You have done amazingly well in an incredibly difficult circumstance. Some people will be the exceptions and some will be the rule. It's not about whether you try hard enough - you are enough just the way you are. Please know that you are loved.

    • @ericaosborne5241

This is such an important comment. The language surrounding cancer always bothered me a great deal. "I beat cancer" "cancer warrior" etc. I understand what they are trying to convey but it downplays the experiences of people who "lost the battle" (that was another example that bothers me). My son's father passed from cancer at 44. It wasn't because he didn't fight hard enough, wasn't positive enough, was weak, or not a warrior. It was because he had a disease that could not be cured. This language is why people feel bad when their cancer spreads, like they aren't fighting hard enough. Everyone with a cancer diagnosis is a warrior. They fight for their lives against something that is completely beyond their control. It certainly takes bravery but also individual circumstances and a lot of luck. I'm not saying people shouldn't celebrate or be proud that they were able to withstand such a terrible ordeal, just to be mindful of the words used.

No negative or positive thoughts don’t ever change where the cancer cells live. Or where I live. Generally actions are more helpful. We all get odd cancer cells, our body fights them off. Sometimes you get more or less, or have a gene, or have whatever. If you lose both your legs in a car accident it decreases the chance of leg cancer. Attitudes towards things change how everyone goes through things. Facing reality is genuinely the best option. Facing your emotions, being honest and feeling reality.
