I too just recently discovered this freight line in Silay city in Negros Island. Basically this line's purpose is to transport sugar canes(?) to the processing plant. Due to years of little to no improvement sadly, the line is slowly being replaced with trucks. Compared to lines like PNR's, this line is owned by the sugar company so it doesn't really function for passenger lines. I also took a look at their tracks and saw the route as not suitable for passenger line since it mostly run on rural sugar farms. One comment here suggests that a portion of the line will be turned into a tourist attraction (which is also nice). But damn I really want to see this for myself if possible before change happens.
