What a privilege for a company like this to be around long enough that they get to rebuild and repair their own guitars from a century ago and bring them back to a player's hands. They should feature every single one of these and the unique behind the scenes processes. Fascinating stuff, for sure.
He says about the old trashed guitars..."sometimes we buy them". Hopefully they give the owner a nice amount considering what they will be worth after restoration
Me neither. I had two mid-60's Brazilian rosewood Martins the had no bling, no pickguards, and no fret markers except tiny side dots and those were the best guitars I ever had. No bling, just sound.

What a cool job restoring old guitars.
Thank you Martin for doing this. Incredible passion for history and authenticity ❤
@reverb THIS is great content!
Beautiful! And what beautiful playing in the background. I would love to know more about that style of guitar playing.
I've heard a rumor that there are other guitar makers beside C.F. Martin. But after more than half a century of playing I don't believe it.
Curious as to what the double neck guitar was? I have a 1981 Alvarez-Yairi DY-87 with a similar body.
Awesome, I hope it hasn’t got a torrified/vts/baked top
Wow...

Nice back!
I'm not fan of the bling on the top. Give me the herringbone :-)
