Random fact, I got to write lore for all the new-non campaign mercs and throw them in their wireframe tooltips, the campaign ones I just put in the cantina descriptions but I got to make some fun lore for the new ones. It is the most effort I put in for something like 3 people probably will ever see.

How is the mod manager? I made my first discord account to look at the mods & was somehow already banned from that server. I guess the last person at my apartment was getting up to some stuff. Kind of weird for all mods for a game to be gated behind permission from 1 fan (not even grant AFAIA). I've never seen that in another game before, like imagine if you bought a used car from someone who had cut off a randon Rimworld player in traffic so u got banned from accessing the steam worshop for Rimworld forever. Also I'm not banned from the GGG discord for some reason? It's all very bizarre
@@tabula_rosa as for the mod manager it allow you to swircht beetween moded and non moded a while and just need to start the camp you modded like you would for a normal camp
I always loved how Mengsk replies to Kerrigan on the city's PA system instead of... in the diplomatic channels KErrigan and Raynor are using. Meaning any stray unevacuated civilians (there's always one or two) are literally hearing their emperor talk to someone they can't hear, and seeming to be schizophrenic.

Hello yes, I started playing this today (on Normal) and I thought I'd just share that I did Harbinger of Oblivion with nothing but Pylon Overcharge and the starting templar. I have no protoss units excepting the observer. Kerrigan carried me by distracting the enemies long enough for my proxy pylons to finish and the overcharge to kill them ^^;
Ok, this might sound dumb, but I just never noticed that when Kerrigan turns purple, the swarm goes from being orange to being purple too. Am I the only one who never noticed this?
Point of order about Dark Swarm and Lurkers in Starcraft 1. What it does is make ranged attack miss ground units in the spell's area. A missed attack deals no direct hit damage, and its AoE (if any) is displaced slightly towards the attacking unit (instead of being centered on the target), dealing area damage around that point. Most units will still fall into the half damage radius of a missed area attack, meaning that they will still take some damage from it. Lurkers are no exception to this rule, but burrowed Lurkers are special in that the AoE's displacement is large enough and their burrowed hitbox is small enough that most missed area attacks (such as Siege Tanks) will be displaced far enough to not reach them. Thus, a burrowed Lurker under a Dark Swarm won't take damage from a Siege Tank attacking targeting it directly, but can still take area damage from Siege Tanks attacking other nearby targets (including other burrowed Lurkers)..
I just did a playthrough of the archipelago myself, man it's fun. I've had a sentry in two flavors as my only protoss unit for about 20 missions, also zero terran units besides bio mercenaries for most of the playthrough. My zerg was disgustingly strong, AoE Devourers with slowing projectiles who can hit both ground and air and both strands of ultra at once with all the archipelago upgrades, too bad there's are so few zerg missions on the grid!
Yo, TwitchTrollGrant should have a progressive Kerrigan down-leveling option on this level, so we could see Kerrigan taking down the Dominion in her Ghost form!

I really just wish that you had realized you started with a swarm queen in the zerg finale. It would have made your mid and late game so much easier on you. And that you excluded it from your control groups and left it at base to continue tumor production in both missions. Congratulations on powering through regardless.
Can I make a plea to get a WoL mod where we get +4 workers for every mission, please? "That's why we go Bio in WoL" just means that the starts are so slow compared to the opponents that we can barely afford anything else. I would love to get a mod that just makes the campaign a little bit more enjoyable on Brutal difficulty, and that would allow me to play with all of the toys without walking the razor's edge. Shouldn't be too hard to make right? Pleeaase Grant! 🙏

As Artosis has said many times, infinity siege tanks cannot splash a dark swarmed lurker to death. It is fully immune.
