That's one thing about watching Harry Mack,no one can tell me that they've watch Harry Mack's content without learning something new. Every now and then you pick up nuggets of knowledge along the way. #UK. Keep up the good work. Much love out of Freetown.
Britt with the Pat Benetar reference!! "Hit me with your best shot!" Nice Most notable use for anvils is by blacksmiths. Used for shaping horseshoes. Also frequently dropped on characters heads in cartoons. (like Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote, or Tom and Jerry, or Foghorn Leghorn)
This is one of my favorites. Mack spazzed one of the best ever on that Ostrich one with the young kids recognizing the TH-cam plaque. Loved the cross eyed reaction… was so apropos.
I am amazed at the things not taught in American schools. Like I'd think everyone in a 1st world country that went to school would know a basic bit of geography like the countries that make up the United Kingdom. Harry is 🔥
To be fair I think a lot of people outside of the US would miss Wales too. But to just know of England or not even knowing that UK is made out of different countries is kind of weird.
thats such an american thing. i am from switzerland and most americans think it`s sweden for some reason :D. I guess that`s why america first worked so well for trump... No hate towards anyone just my toughts. also they think it`s normal that everybody speaks english and they are sort of offended when people can`t answer them when they are visiting other countries
I love this episode so much. Crazy to think he still continues to get better after this one, seems impossible. This is still one of my underrated raves though.
You asked “Why do you come here”,,,, well I can’t speak for everyone but for me it’s for the love of Harry Mack. I found him a few years ago and have watched every video he has posted. I just a few days ago found your reaction videos and you have the same reaction I have. Now I am on a journey to watch all your videos cause your reaction makes me so happy, I love that other people are blown away by Harry.
A anvil is what blacksmiths use. Like when you see them beating a piece of metal. Making horseshoes or something bitd on movies. Like cartoon characters used to get them dropped on their heads. Wiley Coyote comes to mind. Lol
An anvil is the big heavy thing that was always in loony tunes cartoons that would get dropped on Wiley Coyote's head and leave him a giant knot on his head. Lots of anvils in those 80's cartoons. They often had 500lbs on it so we knew it was heavy.
You'd probably be more likely to understand Harry's anvil references if you ever watched Looney Tunes as a kid. They always dropped anvils on each other in those cartoons, so Harry often drops anvils on whack rappers in creative ways in his filler bars.
As a h Mack fan the things I appreciate most is people getting and braking down bars and complicated schemes,. I'm not here to watch someone just bop their head... It's a shame, cause up to 20 u were my favorite reactor ever.
hey Britt, between 36 and 37 Harry did another colab stream with a looper named Mark Rebillet. the whole stream is so much fun(it would be a great live stream reaction idea)but you should at least do the 2 songs they've pulled Move Your Body and In The Club
@@HeyG4444 it's 1 hour 40 minutes uncut. if you skip thru the hilarious Manscape antics and the 2 spots Marc backtracks to redo a beat you can get it down to an hour 20. i'd be willing to timestamp it for her if she wanted
And I believe Harry produces his own stuff. Makes his beats and does the edits. I may be wrong, but thats what it sounds like when he freestyles. He mentions it.
I can’t believe you didn’t know the countries of the UK! Or what an anvil is 😭 evidently flawed education system, but no hate! I love your reactions and been tuning into these daily for the last couple weeks. Good stuff :)
I find it so weird that so many Americans don't know the difference between the UK, Great Britain and the British Isles and that think the UK is just England or think that Ireland is part of the UK.
An anvil you was used by the back in the 1800s even into the early 1900s to make horseshoes and all sorts of stuff anything steel that needed to be bent they would heat it up to a specific temperature and hammer away at that piece of iron or steel or whatever they were using at that time back then and they would hammer a horseshoe to its shape with an anvil, I hope this gives you a bit more clarity on what an anvil is actually used for
Haven't even started yet but just to let you know I am dying for tomorrow (40) is one of my favorites and I can't wait to share it with you, even if you don't get what I get from it.
"«Sweet Jesus, he's way too holy», when it come to rhymes, can't nobody control me!" Great reaction ❤ Some day you will demonstrate us your own YT plaque 😄
Totally some technical feedback, if you like. Your voice is coming through a bit harsh (YOU have a beautiful voice, it's the mic) as it's clipping when your voice is a bit louder. USB mic's have a tendency to do that as they have a somewhat limited dynamic range (in comparison to most XLR mics), so it takes a bit more effort to get them to sound better (looks like a USB 2030, which I also had before I picked up my SM7B). It could also be clipping when you edit (instead of recording), so as you edit the video make sure you spend some time on balancing the vocals vs. music so that the entire video (and all sources) has a nice balanced level for the listener. Something to think about as you continue to improve your setup :).
HMack read a comment on his Wordplay Tuesday yesterday that said to check out your channel and he read it out loud in a freestyle! I thought that was pretty dope. I felt like it was a shout out for you lol
You never watched Saturday morning cartoons like Road Runner and the coyote, or bugs bunny, or Tom and Jerry? They always had anvils falling from the sky or dropped on their heads then get a huge bump on their head.
Loving the Harry Mack reaction. One of the most genuine reactors on this platform. Keep it up, your channels gonna go far. Are you planning on doing Harry Mack’s guerrilla bars series as well? Those are a different level from Omegle bars.
Great reaction as always! ❤️🔥 The lack of awareness in the US though 🙈.... never ceases to amaze me 😅 I am from Europe, yet I could probably name every single state in the US and theres 50 of them. 😄 Also an anvil?!? Have you never watched a cartoon in your life? Haha All love though, keep it up!
I can't articulate why, but I find your comment annoying. Talking like you're some Geography saint and anyone who can't break down UK Countries is an idiot or something. Get over yourself. I could go off on a bunch of dumb crap European's do or don't know also if desired.
@@oldfartgolf Well, you said all that. I am far from calling anyone an idiot (surely not Britt or HMack). I am simply pointing out the lack of basic (!) geography knowledge among the general public in the US, nothing saintly about knowing the 4 countries in the UK. Certainly did not mean to annoy you though, just an observation.
When I was like 7 i saw the movie rocky 4. Told my mom I wanted to get into boxing or martial arts and she said no.she didn't wanna see me get hit. Ended up with deep depression no drive motivation or anything now I just cook.
That second freestyle you asked what that speech was it is off the Batman movie The Dark Knight it is heath Ledger's joker saying them words so they got it from the movie guessing you have probably seen it it come out in 2008 I think maybe even before that because heath Ledger died in 2008 ID only know that because he was Australian and I'm Australian as well, FYI and he played the best joker that has ever been played and that includes Jack Nicholson's joker which is really saying something something..
My geography knowledge is abysmal. Most people in the US probably can't name 30 other countries, let alone point them out on a map. In school I learned very little about the world, and a whole lot about great USA is. If it weren't for Looney Tunes, I probably wouldn't know what an anvil was either.
There's actually a video on Harry's channel that has an interview with his parents. Whether or not you react to it, I think you'd really appreciate it.
@@nicebluejay It's at the beginning of "The Portland Show." It's a 1 hour 20 minute, documentary-style video of his homecoming show during his first, major tour.
Shoutout to Harry’s mom. She was a teacher and he shows a small interview with his parents in one of his earlier “Behind the Bars” episodes.
that was an awesome episode. he showed way more private stuff than i expected. thats rare for a public ficure imo
Harry's parents also show up again, briefly, in his video about the Portland show he did last year.
That message on parents not crushing their children's dreams was on point.

I watch a lot of blacksmithing/knife making videos so I see lots of anvils. You also see Wiley E Coyote dropping anvils a lot.
Anvil is the heavy thing in cartoons that they drop on stuff. Think coyote and the roadrunner.
