I love that the intro consists of a synthesized(I think) choral rendition of Lacrimosa by Mozart. Real nice touch of class to this already amazing recording. I can't wait for their next full length. I've had the single "Third Woe" stuck in my head since it was released 5 months ago. Anyone know when that's supposed to be released?
@@namelessunuser Technically they are one in the same. If you want to read an interesting piece of history, look up the series of events leading up to it's composition. Technically, only the first 8 bars, thus the melody, is written by Mozart. His pupils finished the work for him, as he died while writing it.
@@namelessunuser That's correct. They took a little bit of artistic liberty on that particular event to help the flow of the movie. Still a great movie, but there are a couple of discrepancies.
The song, its title and its lyrics are partly inspired from La Divina Commedia by Dante Alighieri, and partly from the greek myth of Orpheus and his failed attempt to win back Eurydice from death, which is a great symbolism to remind us all to be humble before death, and that uncertainty will spoil success if you let it prevail. The title, translated in to "sphere of fire" is from the initial part of canto I in Paradisio from La Divina Commedia and represents the transcendence to heaven from earth through a sphere of fire. Which can be interpreted that you can reach divinity through self-immolation. Through these two sources of inspiration we decided to have the title in greek as an homage to the myth of Orpheus.
-Mephorash- Coven Thank you very much for your reply . You made things pretty clear to me now . You're very accurate about Orpheas myth and i like your approach of seeing through the myth . Wasn't aware actually of the lyrics . Thank you you've made a fan \m/

Isn't it Requiem by Mozart?

@@benjaminbrandon8197 So, the creation story of Requiem told in movie Amadeus does not reflect the actual events? (if you saw the movie)
