I wondering which useful device attribute can’t filters detect. if say I created a group tag based on department or installed apps, what internal device attribute would be unique for users in that dept that I can’t detect using a filter instead of a tag. e.g driver, ram/storage type or size, screen resolution, etc. why won’t msft expand the detectable properties

Good vid on filters! I do like using them alot - very handy tool. One thing that is cool too is whether you use the filter to exclude vs include.

Started using filters myself around, mostly started with excluding virtual machines for a couple of policies we don't want to hit them
even though filters are the way to go for faster assignments do you still recommend creating those specific groups for a "just in case" scenario?
