    Your boat is looking fabulous ! I like the wood trim around your stove. It really ties in with your decor. Your dinette sofa is really beautiful. What a find! It looks like it was made for the space. Your boat is looking so modern with all your special memorabilia from your travels and your pictures. You have great taste in decorating. LOVED YOUR VLOG !! Am so glad you are feeling better. Glad to have you back.

    I like the combinations of the green and wood affect color at the fire place, because I think it looks beautiful. The picture you said you don't like next to ukulele seems it matches the Ukulele...You've made the boat more stylish and beautiful... I want to watch back the videos you showed us, before to jog my memory, how it looked before you decorated it... If it's not that much of a hassle, can you please quick add a clip how it looked before, nest time.. Thanks for sharing!!!

    I would leave the wood around the multi-fuel stove as it is. But, it's your boat in the end and you should follow your heart on the matter. The boat is looking fresh and nice. I would also make the table legs longer and get rid of the wood box under the table, although it looks fine and it's just a thought. Mark in Colorado.

    Hi. I love what you have done with the boat so far. It’s looking great. I personally would keep the skirting wood but the wood going around the tiles can be painted a diffident colour and would look amazing and help make more of a feature of the fireplace. Either way it looks great

    I love how you have decorated the boat. I was going to suggest you change the hinges on the box at the end of the dinette by cutting the front panel off and hinge it at the bottom. Nail the top down and now you still have the box but it pulls down like a bread box and you haven't lost the storage. However, that won't work if you put wood on the end of the seating. Just a thought in case you want to preserve that space. The whole place looks so fresh and up dated. You have done a wonderful job. Glad too that your feeling better. Have a Blessed day. BTW did you say whether your going to moor up for the winter or continue cruising.?

    With you table instead of cutting down put 2 draw type runners underneath the table and when you sit down you can pull it towards you for eating and push it partly over the seat when finished eating, that way it won't stick out and you can adjust it to your liking!

    You have done an amazing job on the interior refurbishment.
    I think you should leave the surround by the stove in the timber colour it is currently. Too much black would be a mistake.
    I too am learning to play Ukulele. I started on TH-cam tutorials and now go to the Calderdale and Huddersfield Ukulele Group (CHUG) every week. It is much better than trying to learn on your own.
    How accomplished are you? I can now play many songs all the way through. Amazing really, because I never learned to read music and could not play any instrument before buying my Ukulele.
    Keep on strumming and maybe you could include playing your Uke on a future vlog.

    Beautiful transformation already & it's just astounding to hear that the dinette cushions were an FB Marketplace find, repurposed from an RV/caravan, no less - they look high-end & custom-made for the space.
    You've definitely found your calling, you really do have an impeccable eye for achieving these boat renos. In very short order, this one already looks more like a tasteful & gracious home than a leisure watercraft.
    Can't wait for the final before & after 'reveal' episode someday, it's gonna be epic!

    Hi Kayleigh. Glad you are feeling better after having Covid. The boat looks very nice inside! I like the idea of those brass bars near the stove for drying, that makes a lot of sense, although I wonder whether it significantly increases any condensation issues and how you deal with that.
    Very sorry that we may have been responsible for disturbing you at 3:10am, we were moving not through our own choice. As a result, I have quite a story from my first trip on the canals. :-/

    • @LiveaboardLifestyle
      @LiveaboardLifestyle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Russell 😊 I only find an increase in condensation when drying towels. Smaller clothes are ok. Awe no! I hope everything is ok!

    • @rmk
      @rmk 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Useful to know for the future! I'm still boat hunting.
      Everything is now fine. Sadly, it did result in a shorter trip than was intended, especially as we spent a day recovering from the ten hour night-time journey after we'd already cruised for about seven hours during the day!
      I was "crew" so I was operating all the locks, and I can at least say that our night-time locking was entirely uneventful. If one has to do it, then I recommend (a) raising or lowering slowly, (b) realise that you can't see to the stern of the boat while at the paddles, so think about how to detect an emergency and communicating that there is an emergency.

    My taste is to leave that wooden surround the wood tone, but my taste may not be entirely objective since my family name is Wood. :D Also, those brass bars for hanging towels are a brilliant idea. And ... thought just occurred that the wood tone surround behind stove and the sorta-similar hued brass bars above stove work to kind of tie the area together.
