Another great day for flying. From my nation's capital to DFW! The takeoff over the Capital's Mall was fantastic, the cruise shots were awesome, and cutting through the blanket to a soggy Landing was very nice! Great ride, man!
DCA almost always provides some great views on departure. If the winds are out of the north you either get to see the national mall, or the Pentagon. This was a great flight overall. The weather provided for some excellent shots throughout the whole flight. I'm glad you enjoyed this one my friend!
Nice, I have always like flying into and out of DFW, they have one of the best tram systems now. But I do wish a lot more airlines flew into DFW, but thats with most major hubs for the major carriers.
Thanks my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed it. DFW does have a very good tram. It is by far my favorite! And you're right. When it's American's largest hub they pretty much dominate everything at DFW. Thanks for watching!
It varies, but I try to travel once a month even if it just means hoping down to DFW for a day of spotting. My high so far was 2016 where I had 106 flights. Last year I have around 40 flights, and so far this year I have about 30 that I have already taken, or planed through August. I'll probably end up with around 50 flights this year.
So those planes were configured for takeoff so they were most likely being held by the FAA for flow programs. Airports can only handle so many aircraft flying into them at one time. Airports that have this problem are often times major hubs or major population centers. Chicago, Washington, New York, etc. The FAA spaces out aircraft flying into these airports so they don’t have traffic jams in the sky all at one time. Those aircraft you see were ready to depart but were probably held by the FAA awaiting their slot time for even spacing when they got to their destination. In other words there are a lot of planes trying to fly into Chicago everyday. If they all took off from airports around the country without any type of flow program it would be mass chaos in ORD trying to line them all up, so the FAA fixes this by holding flights until specific times at their origin airport. Hopefully that all makes sense. I am typing this on my phone.
I'm closer to DCA, but rather fly out of BWI when I fly to DFW. Enjoying your videos as always! God bless!
I'm glad you're enjoying them! Thanks for watching!
Always love an aerial view of DC
It never disappoints! Thanks for watching my friend!

Wow that's the fastest I've ever seen a A321 takeoff, what was the cruising speed?
Favorite airport! Started flying Kodak film out of there in 1980
Sounds like you've probably gotten a lot of great aviation memories over the years. Thanks for watching!
Fav airplane♡
I enjoy flying on the A320 series of aircraft. I actually prefer them over 737s. Thanks for watching my friend!

Ok, so why are those planes holding in that particular position at 9:30? I’ve seen it in other videos at DCA and never understood
