What amazes me about all the different nests are the styles in which they build them. Some are perfectly round, branches almost laid like bricks. Others are very staggered with big pieces jutting out here and there. Some rails are really tall, and others, the nest is wider and rails not so high. So amazing 💞 🙏🦅 🌟

I love shadow so much and shadow is really good about getting the nest ready and doing all the sticks and all of that but he struggled there for a little bit Jackie flew in and lifted that big branch or twig with one lift that’s one strong mama and she’s strained it out and said that’s how it’s done shadow looked at her like that’s my love my strong love that was so cute he struggled there for a little bit she flew in and took care of it cute cute video I had to rewatch it to see her do that one left that was great love you guys you three
Spirit (have to get caught up - love the name!) at first attempted to help Dad - decided not to do so - "Dad has issues" -lol! Spirit is getting great private lessons on nest building from both parents.
I chuckled and held my breath all at the same time. I was so nervous that Shadow was going to knock Spirit right out of the nest. Then I chuckled at how the little one joined in with the struggle with the stick which was more like limb!

Goodness, I am very surprised at Shadow. He seemed completely confused as to how to move Jackie's tree stick. And poor Spirit was trying to tell Dad to just let Mama handle it. And Jackie did just that - picked it up, and moved it in one go. Shadow was over to the side looking embarrassed, and Spirit was just glad it was over. Jackie: "Shadow, you know I love you. But if you do this again, it's the roost tree for a month." Shadow: "Yes, dear."
Jackie is older than Shadow therefore has more experience with nestorations plus she's larger so probably stronger too. Not surprised she solved the problem quickly. 😀

Jackie brought that tree in this morning, had a very hard time getting it to where Shadow was messing with it. And I was afraid for Spirit when she brought it in, the way she struggled with it. So when she came back and moved it, I wondered why she couldn't put it right where she moved it in the first place. I was thinking that they needed some sort of barrier in that area anyway because I saw Spirit backing onto that very spot yesterday for a PS and worried that he was going to step off the nest. It was a nail biter, indeed, thanks Cali.

I tuned into LIVE video of this stick being there yesterday 4 7 22. Then the next day on 4. 8 22 TODAY the stick was gone. It was moved. I asked about it in the live chat. I tuned into LIVE video of this stick being there yesterday 4 7 22. Then the next day on 4. 8 22 TODAY the stick was gone. It was moved. I asked about it in the live chat. Thank you so much for posting this I wondered about it.
I wasn't able to watch for a whole week.

My heart couldn't take it if anything happened to this family.
They added a fence to prevent Spirit from falling out of the nest prematurely.
