Wow, I’ve never seen so many roots out of the pot, great job reporting. I love learning how our all our environments require different media’s. Thank you kindly for sharing your process and taking time to make your videos. Peace.

After seeing this video I realized that I might be smothering the roots of some of my orchids in a medium that is way too fine. The large chunks of charcoal that you are using are impressive, I will try to find some here in Canada or the USA. I have some the size of almonds but nothing as big as yours. Thanks for this very interesting video.

Watched your rootless cattleya repotting video. Really a practical session. I also bid good bye to coconut husks. Recently I experimented wirh self made coconut charcoal in repotting dendrobiums and potted phels. So thin. We can see new roots sprouting. Happy growing.

Which media is easy to remove roots? I like your all video. You explained in an easy way.

Thank u 😊 almost all media (bark, charcoal etc) will stick to the roots ..we need to soak well before removing...the only thing that comes off easily without even slightest damage to roots is sphagnum moss..

Oh no! What if you don't have a toddler to add the magic touch? 😂❤

I th8nk what is missing in my regimen is the Magic Touch. My children are grown up. Will repot a few and call someone to touch them. Will pay with chocolates!
