This was requested for many times already, so after some struggle finding 7 VK 90s I finally decided to try it. VK 72.01 (K) tech tree tier 10 vs collectible VK 90.01 (P). Let's see which VK (Versuchskampffahrzeug) is better?

Wow nice movie, sub for you! I love side scraping tanks and VK72 was one of my fav X tanks in the game. After all those months/years finally had my hands on VK90 and man.. I'm in love.. Just had 10 games in it and in 8 totally dominated the battlefield. Fabulous tank, love it.

the vk9001 is just a very strong tank, all rounded, strong "weak" spots, fast and its gun depression on the side is just stupid

@@Suigintou02 it can do weird semi hulldown. The upper plate is thick enough to peek and aim. the key is to turn the tank hull slighty away from the target while keeping the lower plate hidden. The side armor is decently thick as well. Basically a mix between sidescraping and hulldown

You make interesting content comparing different tanks. If you can, it would be great how you would compare the Tiger 131 and Kuromoremine tanks. I know that the tanks are very old, but on TH-cam I did not find much information about it.
Good idea the two seem very similar it would be good to see them put through their paces against each other to see if one does have the edge on the other

The vk 72 needs a turret cheek buff for exchange of a lower plate nerf (to be equal)

No, it doesn't even need a buff at all. The tank is already good as it is, I don't know whats your problem with the turret cheeks, i've never had been penned on the cheeks over the past 192 battles using the VK 72.01 K.

This tank is too goddam op and it didnt deserve any buff
as a Maus main with calibrated shells, vk 72 sides are kinda easy to pen, not that easy, but it doesn't suffer the head-on penetrations on tracks that the Maus has (this one will get changed thanks to the buff), the vk 72 however, has a very special ability that the Maus does not have, no matter how high or low your penetration is, the sides of the vk 72 are mid, they don't change too much if you are using high caliber cannons, you can also turn your tank when the opponen is about to shoot and you will get a lot of bounces, there is a similar way to do it with Maus, basically, I think that vk 72 deserved the buff, I hope that it's little, but now that I check it, yeah, the vk 72 sides buff is minimal, the tank is pretty balanced, you know?

Vk 72 its good and the unique things for kill a vk90 with that is 2 bullets; heat and he but if the enemy is not in frontal use ap. And why use money for a tank that haves like 5,00% drop chance when u can grind a tank like that but its free in tech tree but ok everyone haves rights so have a good day.

Fun Fact: VK stands for Vollketten Wich also means Prototype in German
Vollkette means that a vehicle has no wheels, only tracks. Some vehicels had both, so you call them Halbkettenfahrzeuge.
If you wanna say prototype in german, you would say Versuchsfahrzeug or Prototyp.

Nope. You can't side scape at all and of no prem is used, the vk90 can become inpervious
VK90 is a lot more reliable than VK72 due to its side armor and ability to hulldown while doing so.

Amx 50 B has the best frontal hull and 60tp and IS-4 have the best turrets.

@@canadianoctopus1479 yea but we were talking bout frontal armour here. T95's weak spot is really small and hard to hit at a distance and the t110e3's only weak spot frontally is its lower plate. Both of the vks in this vid have the turret cheeks, lower plate and a huge lower plate. Granted the t95 and the t110e3's weakspots are alot smaller than both the vks. T110e3 has a tad bit of a larger weakspot than the t95 which is that lower plate but even then its heavily curved so its very troll to try and pen it.
Also if we were comparing the effectiveness of the tanks in a battle it wouldnt be fair...
because the t95 is most effective as and is supposed to be the spearhead of the assult, being a slow but hard hitting wall that ur allies can shoot over. Basically a really short heavily armoured bunker buster.
The t110e3 is most effective as a hulldown sniper, getting into a position that attracts alot of attention and getting shot at whilst shooting back (for some reason most players, usually new players, seem to think the e3's weak spot is its cupola and shoots at it almost immediately without realizing how THICC it can be)
The vk72 and 90 are heavy tanks, they are supposed to brawl with the other heavies mid to late game and early game they are supposed to support the spear head tank or be the spear head tank.
also since the t95 democracy yeeting tutel and the t110e3 have alot of pen they are literaly the perfect counter for heavy tanks so its a bit unfair lol

I still think vk 72 better, it high damage, it faster than other german ht, it free not premium, it have a good armor, can make enemy waste their ammo, good percing. But 1 thing i don't like is tier 6, 7, 8, 9 it so suck, and skill better than tank, if you play this game good, even you use a paper tank, you still can win, sorry about my grammar xd
