Wear a respirator when sandblasting Lin. Be safe. Here a full body SCBA suit is worn and air supplied from a breathable air compressor located far from the sandblasting. For small parts a special glove box is used. It has a window to see in. I used those very much.

Lin, you can use a rubber mallet to knock the piston in. A special clamp helps compress the rings, so it only takes a few seconds to insert the piston
