These mods are made possible using my tool ubi-canvas: github.com/byvar/ubi-canvas
I created this in 2019 as a map viewer tool much like raymap and Ray1Map, but for the UbiArt engine. It currently supports the PC version of Rayman Legends, versions of Adventures and Mini, and might later get support for Origins and the other mobile games, and perhaps Child of Light and Valiant Hearts. But since the code for it can read and write formats for all supported games already, wouldn't it be fun to also allow converting between the games?
▶︎ Why?
I really like Rayman Legends. Since Adventures was announced, I have been waiting for Ubisoft to release some of the new content as DLC to Legends, or as a cheap digital-only game on consoles.
Instead, the online servers have closed down for the PC version, and most likely the most we can expect for the game's 10th anniversary in 2023 is a tweet. I thought I would celebrate differently - by finally making this content playable in Legends, with full controls and multiplayer!
▶︎ Release?
I hope to release this project in 2023 as a patch program that will require the original files of Rayman Legends and specific versions of Rayman Adventures and Mini, distributing only the original content created for this expansion project.
▶︎ It looks buggy!
It does. This footage was recorded for the Rayman Alive event, which had a deadline for submissions on December 2nd. This gave me the motivation to get all of this working in only 10 days! Now, one week later, many of the bugs shown in this video (missing lighting effects, duplicate/missing objects...) have already been fixed, and almost every map from these games can be played in Legends to an extent. I'm still working hard on this project and will probably release an updated trailer closer to the release.

I really like this project and I will be waiting for it as the most anticipated release. This game is one of the best that have been in my life and I'm sorry to realize that the sequel may not come out. But thanks to you, I hope to get content that can be really good. just a few things that i wish you would add:
>in game lvl editor
>place for fan level
(you can do it just like a brawl:
theres a picture with random fan level(of the past week)
and a picture with player's fav level (every mounth all rates are disaper)
after you play random lvl, you can rate it from -5 to 5 stars
if your level get from -1 to 1 rate in total your level is gonna be in next week
or like a GD:
idk how to explain these)

>train mode(for challenges)
>customize profile (maybe with stickers, of your achivments)
>music and dark rayman lvls for back to origins
>i think you can give teen's(blue little guys) skin for challenges

(i have 1 idea:
every lum's skins are gonna be rated from 1 to 10.
when you start new game, all skins are gonna be in random order,
except the way, thats at start theres only 1 star kins, then 2 and e.t.c.)

Is there any place I can follow the progress? And you plan on doing more of these later? Like, your own full blown worlds with it's own theme and 10+ levels? Bc you may as well be the trigger for a whole new generation of creators for Legends, if Ubi won't, we sure as hell will

I've wanted Adventures content ever since they announced the Definitive Edition on Switch. Really happy someone's adding them to Legends. Any chance of seeing the exclusive costumes from Adventures/Mini into the game?

Do you think it will be possible to also add some new skins from fiesta run/adventures/mini in your dlc ? It's a waste that those awesome skins didn't make it to the "mains" games.

One thing I would like to see though is to ask for a lot, if apart from the fact that the expansion worlds are separate without replacing any, I would like if it was possible, if they could add the other skins/characters that were only exclusive on consoles like For example, the Switch version or the mobile games like the ones they use as a base (Mini and Adventures) or some like Fiesta Run
I feel that it would be a good time to put them if possible, to make the mod more complete

That unexpected move i love it oblviusly but how you manage to do it smiliarly to the original is it just because they all share the same RL style so it's easy to mod them

how did you go about doing this? i know you didn't just dump the files of adventures into legends (i've tried that, it didn't work) how did you use ubi canvas to do this. as far as i know, you can only import act files and stuff, not create entire levels. also, is this gonna just be a patch? or are you gonna have to replace the game's ipk for it.

ubsoft takes Rayman to mobile and releases it in an anniversary pack for consoles, Rayman Adventure and Rayman mini in the anniversary pack, including Rayman Origin, Rayman Legend
