Dear Sir, Assalamualikum. I have written an essay. Could you please estimate the band score.
Task: Some people think that the government should provide funding for arts. Others, however, believe that the money should be spent on public health and education. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
Answer: There are some people who believe that the government had better make a budget for arts like music, drama, or painting, even though some people give the opposite opinion that the money should be provided for public health and education. Both of their perspectives will be narrated in this essay, and I will support the second view.
On the one hand, the government of a country has to give more focus on health and education; because these two sectors are mandatory in human life and associated with all types of human rights. Nowadays, non-communicable diseases as well as communicable diseases are dramatically increasing worldwide. For this reason, the government needs to conduct some studies to identify the correlated factors with the diseases and spend more money to conduct the studies. Additionally, childhood malnutrition and food insecurity are the crucial part of the public health perspectives. Therefore, the government needs to give a large-scale nutrition intervention which is costly. Moreover, without a good education, it is not possible to do anything. In the present time always, in every sector, people use advanced technological tools. For this reason, education should be improved.
On the other hand, cultural programs and paintings are also needed in human life which are entertainment tools, that reduce our mental stress. To make good quality music, dramas, and movies, we need skilled manpower, advanced technology, and a suitable place. But without government support, it is not possible to make good quality art items. So, it should be considered during preparing national budget.
In conclusion, although arts sector is a very important role in our lives, the government should more prioritize compared to the arts sector.
