Fun thread!!! Candy-O cover art !! Is it Vargas art? Not sure. I like that OMD cover. lol - when I do this (you’ve inspired me!), you’ll probably pull your hair out (oh wait…) at my ignorance of cars! Love this.
Yes it it Vargas came out of retirement IIRC for it. I look forward to your response I’m sure it will be awesome.
Middle Cyclone by Neko Case - It's oddly arousing. Aberto Vargas was a legendary pin up artist that The Cars managed to winkle out if retirement to do the cover for Candy-O. To my eyes it's a Ferrari 365. It's looks that guy in the Beetle cabriolet is trying make some manoeuvres un the dark himself.
Yup its a pretty good story about Vargas, and you may be right on the car. And that's what I am thinking as well, there may be some maneuvering going on :-) But by whom? :-) Thank you as always for watching F Q
