yeh, Dehya overral provides better value for Lyney cause u get a 3rd pyro, interruption res and off field pyro particles for Lyney to pick up which reduces his er requirements

Not everyone is gonna play every single character correctly. He’s literally been corrected in the past on stream about rotations and other play styles. This is what happens when hoyo uses similar mechanics across several characters. Yoi, ganyu, yelan, childe, and amber (it’s in her cons) all have charge shot mechanics in some form. As for his guide videos. There should be zero hesitations. His guides are top tier along with zy0x and iwintolose. His demonstrations here aren’t on par with what he showcases in the guide videos. Id suggest to go watch one for yourself. I think judging those videos based on a C0 vs C6 video is an injustice and disservice to both you as a viewer and him as a content creator.

nah i think you're forgetting some of the people commenting are being genuine. labeling the video maxed c6 r5 lyney showcase with a video with lyney being 6 1 1 and not even used in the right team feels pretty bad. especially when he talks about his dmg not being great. all that most are asking is him to be used correctly for the "showcase". im not dismissing the unnecessary hate some are giving him but im also not ignoring the valid criticism others are giving.
Your doing Lyney’s rotation wrong. Also on top of that a well built C0 Lyney with good artifacts and level 9 talents can easily do over 250k fully charged attack with a mono pyro team. I believe you aren’t Lyney correctly. Please do more research before making damage showcase on him.

C6 Yelan is a lot of frontloaded damage. C6 Lyney is also equal amounts of frontloaded dmg if used in correct rotation. Both require no reaction to do so. But the thing i liked about Lyney is he still does insane dmg at c0 and doesn't need to worry about reaction setups and ICDs. And well c0 Yelan also holds upto this but c6 Xingqui exists😅
I was wondering the same thing. My Lyney is C0 & only has 4pc WT (still farming the new set with no luck) but he does way more damage when you use his E. Even if he's only got 2 stacks. I think Xlice just doesn't really know how he's supposed to be played or he doesn't care...

you can't satisfy everyone. There are those who wants to see optimized rotation, especially those who can't afford C6 (let alone any other constellations), and to them, this "showcase" is really dumb presentation of that. this is even moreso because he is a content creator that MAKE CHARACTER GUIDE, so obviously we are expecting him to do his research before presenting it to his audience.

This is a great video, it's an entertaining watch and that's what's most important, you can feel like it's not your best work but please don't feel that way because some random idiot on the internet got mad at you for trying to be entertaining. You create amazingly detailed, fleshed out and trustworthy guides but you also make funny, entertaining and unique concepts, people that can't differentiate and can't appreciate both aren't worth anyone's time. You may not have had the strongest lyney ever but it still does really impressive damage for the amount of investment put into him! Guys I have a dilemma and I need some advice🙏 So I got lucky and got 2 of Lyneys bis weapon. Idk if I should refine it bc I see it as a dps weapon and I won’t ever use 2 bow dps in abyss since I always use Xiao on one side(I never do abyss without him and don’t plan too). So should I refine for some extra dmg or save just in case? If it matters my other 5* bows are Amos, elegy, and skyward harp
naw... dont refine it... the passive is really good for mono element carries.... would be a banger on a tighnari or ganyu. 36~48% free atk is no joke lol. enjoy ur bows! :D

He's just a quick rotate and his charged attack is just needed to get stacks to buff his q and e ...I have yoimiya and lyney both...lyney is just a better quick swap dps
he's a bit easier to pilot than yoimiya at c0 because you can more quickly rotate through all his skills and do a few charged shots before switching off, whereas yoimiya needs to stay on field and can't move during her atk string or she messes up her vapes and doesn't get her biggest damage
No not really, he has both consistant AOE and decent singletarget damage unlike Yoimiya exclusively singletarget kit, he doesn't have to worry about vape ICD and his teams are better as in they are less funneling into 1 single dps like Yoi's team is, for example you can run Liney Bennett OPPA and Zhongli and have XL cover your AOE needs while Zhongli shields you+DEF shred+Monolith, or you can run Liney Bennett + a Pyro defensive like Yanfei C4 or Dehya instead as a cheap alternative to Zhongli, or you can be gigachad and go Liney Bennett XL and Kazuha and completely obliterate everyone. Plus he doesn't use any Hydro unit so that left alot of good characters for the other chamber. P/s: also he can play quickswap with little dps lost compared to Yoi so that already makes him way more consistant
He hits much harder than Yoimiya, plus he actually has AOE with his firework attacks. CA x 2 -> Q -> E to cancel -> E is really satisfying too for quickswap

Why does he never use Lyney’s E? It does an insane amount of damage especially with 4 or 5 stacks

I was wondering the same thing. My Lyney is C0 & only has 4pc WT (still farming the new set with no luck) but he does way more damage when you use his E. Even if he's only got 2 stacks. I think Xlice just doesn't really know how he's supposed to be played or he doesn't care...
@@kitamibu exactly, I have a c0 r1 Lyney with pretty bad gladiator and crimson witch artifacts and he can do over 100k with his skill. Plus it heals him so it’s an important part of his rotation for me
He doesn't know how to use the character or care to learn, a full rotation using his full kit probably evaporstes the abyss like those khave vids

you can't satisfy everyone. There are those who wants to see optimized rotation, especially those who can't afford C6 (let alone any other constellations), and to them, this "showcase" is really dumb presentation of that.
this is even moreso because he is a content creator that MAKE CHARACTER GUIDE, so obviously we are expecting him to do his research before presenting it to his audience.

This is a great video, it's an entertaining watch and that's what's most important, you can feel like it's not your best work but please don't feel that way because some random idiot on the internet got mad at you for trying to be entertaining. You create amazingly detailed, fleshed out and trustworthy guides but you also make funny, entertaining and unique concepts, people that can't differentiate and can't appreciate both aren't worth anyone's time. You may not have had the strongest lyney ever but it still does really impressive damage for the amount of investment put into him! I sincerely hope you do more content like this, don't let this stop you from making unique silly ideas, i personally like seeing a characters dmg at low levels because it make the character seem even stronger when they're maxed out! Guys I have a dilemma and I need some advice🙏
So I got lucky and got 2 of Lyneys bis weapon. Idk if I should refine it bc I see it as a dps weapon and I won’t ever use 2 bow dps in abyss since I always use Xiao on one side(I never do abyss without him and don’t plan too). So should I refine for some extra dmg or save just in case?
If it matters my other 5* bows are Amos, elegy, and skyward harp
naw... dont refine it... the passive is really good for mono element carries.... would be a banger on a tighnari or ganyu. 36~48% free atk is no joke lol. enjoy ur bows! :D

He's just a quick rotate and his charged attack is just needed to get stacks to buff his q and e ...I have yoimiya and lyney both...lyney is just a better quick swap dps
he's a bit easier to pilot than yoimiya at c0 because you can more quickly rotate through all his skills and do a few charged shots before switching off, whereas yoimiya needs to stay on field and can't move during her atk string or she messes up her vapes and doesn't get her biggest damage

No not really, he has both consistant AOE and decent singletarget damage unlike Yoimiya exclusively singletarget kit, he doesn't have to worry about vape ICD and his teams are better as in they are less funneling into 1 single dps like Yoi's team is, for example you can run Liney Bennett OPPA and Zhongli and have XL cover your AOE needs while Zhongli shields you+DEF shred+Monolith, or you can run Liney Bennett + a Pyro defensive like Yanfei C4 or Dehya instead as a cheap alternative to Zhongli, or you can be gigachad and go Liney Bennett XL and Kazuha and completely obliterate everyone. Plus he doesn't use any Hydro unit so that left alot of good characters for the other chamber.
P/s: also he can play quickswap with little dps lost compared to Yoi so that already makes him way more consistant
He hits much harder than Yoimiya, plus he actually has AOE with his firework attacks. CA x 2 -> Q -> E to cancel -> E is really satisfying too for quickswap
