What I like most about crafting, is you use the tips of the fingers more and develop strength. I noticed I lost mine as i got older,and I feel clumsy picking up small objects. I used to craft and play string instruments a lot as a kid.

Any none slip with smooth surface and heat resisting Silicone Pad will do, and I cut it into the size that I want, for my convenience.

What size jump rings do you use???
Those look to be about 6 or 8mm, but really you just need to use whatever works to allow the earring to swing freely.
